This was a surprise getaway experience for my boyfriend. He had no idea there is a whiskey distillery in the hills of Temecula so for him, this was a wonderful surprise. Given it was his first time visiting the valley of Temecula and then second of all, Jacqui at the distillery went above and beyond to make it explosive for him. Rough start as I felt we waited too long to be acknowledged. It was New Year's Eve but we did have reservations. Hostess never acknowledged us. We had to seek him/her out to say we were there with reservation. We eventually were seated. Drinks and food and service from that pick ton was good. No complaints. When I walk in the door I expect someone to acknowledge me and let me know they know I'm there. Other than that all good.
My wife brought me here last year and we absolutely loved it. Great food, service was on point, ambiance was fantastic as a moody, speakeasy style place. We came back last night to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was completely different. The place and the food was still great but the service was absolutely horrendous. We walked in, wasn't greeted and had to sit ourselves as the host seemed to be busy on his computer and the wait staff didn't even acknowledge...
