We went to Phil's barbecue and Temecula and the food was great. It was also a young man that worked there named Angel this most polite kid you ever met. He was very helpful and very nice. If all their staff is like Angel, then they have a killer set of staff.

We had a reservation at Benihana but they were running an hour behind. (Crazy bad business.) So we walked over to Phil's. So glad we did. Absolutely delicious! Great service. Loved it.

Been going since the one on Goldfiinch in San Diego; head down from LA on the regular for some beefy ribs, pulled pork, fries, beans, tri tip, link and drink, etc. Every Phil's is the same (been to everyone) and the service is like you used to get way back in the day. Go here.

I usually like barbecue, so this is an ideal barbecue. However, if you think the sauce is too sweet, you can ask for it separately!
The ribs and beef ribs were delicious, but the chicken was dry and not that good! The side corn slaw potato salad was good.
Great staff! Pulled pork sandwich and sausage were tasty.

Texas born and raised man so here we go. Chicken was 5 star. Excellent work. Potato salad and beans were average. Not bad but not great. High quality but lacked a little seasoning and heavy garlic it seems. Overall Iโm coming back. Getting the chicken. Will try the mac and cheese as well as a beef rib.
