What can I say. Whatever the name may be, wherever it is, whatever the cost, it's still Don Jose food that I grew up on and loved in Artesia for over 40 years. This location is not the traditional Don Jose/Ricardo's layout with a truly California Mexican restaurant feel but it's very nice and comfortable. The food tastes the exact same. The staff was great and I will be back until either it or myself no longer exists.

I recently visited and had a mixed but overall enjoyable dining experience. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, which were very tasty and satisfying. The enchiladas were rich and flavorful, making them a highlight of the meal.

However, the crispy chicken taco was a bit of a letdown. It lacked the expected flavor and didn't quite meet the standard set by the other dishes. On the bright side, the beans and rice were very good, providing a comforting and well-seasoned...

Service was absolutely excellent. The food was average, at best. The interior was warm and a bit dank. No vegan options whatsoever. Scant vegetarian offerings. Very limited menu overall. Our server was attentive, quick, thoughtful, humours, and friendly. The highlight of the visit.
