This is a weird review to write. Rosati's ingredients are top-notch and I love the pizza at their Temecula location - it's one of, if not my very favorite pizza places in California. But my trip to the Mission Gorge Rosati's was SUPER disappointing. I called to place my order in advance, and the person who answered my call was on training. That's fine of course - we all have to train sometimes! But my order was really very simple - two Chicago style pizzas, one double peperoni, one onion with half beef and half jalapeno. The order seemed to confuse her (again this is totally understandable, no issues) and I was passed off to a more experienced employee. Took longer than it should have to order, but all was still OK to this point. Then I picked up the pizzas. When I got home (a 45-minute+ drive) I found out that the pizzas were wrong. Rosati's gives the option to have sauce on top, or under the cheese. I ordered cheese on top. But both pizzas were done with sauce on top, which for me and my whole family tastes nowhere near as good as having the cheese on top. The cheese doesn't get the same texture when the sauce is on top, and it kind of feels/tastes like there's fewer ingredients. The sauce becomes too dominant. You can argue that I should have checked the pizzas when I was in the store - but I had just driven a long distance and then waited in line for a while, and wanted to get home and eat them! ;) So I honestly didn't think of it. (And since these pizzas take 40 minutes to cook, if I DID see they were wrong, I'd have had to wait a long time for new ones anyway). Also - pizza places also sometimes "show" you the pizza - it would have been nice if that happened here, but I think the cashier was also on training. This was an $80 order (the pizzas with 2 ingredients are about $35 each + tax and a tip to the cashier), and nearly 2 hours of driving. We live too far away to think of returning the pizzas (no idea if this was even an option), so we just ate them as is. But it was definitely NOT worth the time/effort/money. I don't know if this 2* review is overly harsh, or fair. Again, this kind of happened due to a new employee being trained, which all businesses go through. And the ingredients were normal Rosati's high quality. But it sure was unfortunate for us, and we were left with a very bad experience for a very expensive pizza.

Went here for a family get together. First impression when walking in is that the restaurant is dirty. The floors are gross. The menus are sticky as are the tables. The waitress was quite pleasant. We ordered a Chicago style deep dish pizza. We were warned about how long it would take and sure enough the pizza arrived in about 45 minutes. Worth the wait? The crust was like cardboard and devoid of flavor. You needed a knife to cut it. The pizza sauce tasted like tomato paste. Shockingly bad.

Pizza. People. And SPORTS. Winning combination. Love this place. and I've been going for years. Love the thin crust pizza cut in PIE CUT (pizza shouldn't be cut into squares!!!) My standard order is 1/2 sausage thin crust with an Antipasto salad. Chef's kiss!!

Ordered a Chicago-style pizza for takeout. Either I drove a little wild, or the pizza really hadn't set, but it came out a bit of a mess at home. That being said, it was tasty (half cheese, half pepperoni). Always looking for that faithful Chicago pizza after going to school there, and Rosati's does a pretty good job on their pies. It's not a perfect substitute, but it's pretty darn good for SoCal!

I usually recommend Rosati's to all pizza lover's. My 5yr old loves the beer nuggets. Today they were really overcooked. My daughter even complained asking why are they so hard. I would have brought it back into the restaurant but we live in Murrieta off Clinton Keith. When I called to complain all I received was an "I'm sorry" and it didn't even sound sincere. It is one thing to have terrible food but terrible service is unacceptable. My daughter was really looking forward to her special treat and was extremely disappointed. The pizza also tasted like cardboard. I am just really disappointed because I really liked Rosati's

Great Chicago Pizza that is always delicious. Derp dish as well as traditional crust both are wonderful. Wide variety on the menu options and always a great experience.

Been a long time since we came for the deep dish. It was just Eh, veggies weren't cooked enough. But biggest thing was the bathroom. Men coming out of women's bath, I told the guy ladies only. Response was take it up with management. Girls up front confirmed this. Honestly toilet had urine all over it. Sorry but won't be returning if they can't keep the ladies safe.

This place is awesome. Came here for a family night out. The staff was amazing !!!!! We got a Chicago deep dish, right after I served everyone a slice my little "sour patch kid" two year old had one of his famous tantrums and tossed the pizza on the floor. The staff was amazing, they cleaned up right away and even offered us a complimentary small to cover what our little monster tossed on the floor. I couldn't have been more apologetic, but the staff laughed it off and was super welcoming. Because of the great staff they just earned a customer for life. Foods great (the small amount I had), place is great, and staff is the best!!!

Great pizza and salad delivered to our door! We had the best delivery driver, Cayden. He was so nice and helpful. Pizza was hot and fresh!

You have to try the Chicago deep dish!! It's so delicious . By far the best pizza! The only thing that would back it better is if the sauce was Keto friendly. But I cheated I just ate the cheese mmmmm I can't express the happiness in my mouth. Oh customer service was good to just not as good as the pizza parking is ok, but the pizza on point. Did I mention the pizza was amazing.

It's so nice to have a neighborhood restaurant who has consistently served for as many years as they have with a level of professionalism. Great food , great bar and wonderful staff and servers.. thank you. Bert and Bunny Fowler

I was excited to try this "Chicago style pizza" .. I ordered a thin crust pizza with green peppers, olives and jalapeños. Wasn't very impressed with eating basically a pizza with a cracker like crust (it was hard) ..To me it's just an over-priced version of Vail pizza (which has very thin cracker-like crusts as well). Pizza wasn't terrible but lacked flavor. I'm all for supporting small businesses but $41 for two 12" thin crust pizzas just isn't worth it, especially with the quality.

SO. MUCH. FOOD. We tried this place on Father's Day and had a little bit of everything - hot dog, pan pizza, wings and a calzone. The wings were tasty and moist and were a good price. The calzone was huge and delicious, and the melted cheese pulled apart like it was out of a tv commercial. The pizza was large and heavy, exactly what I was hoping for from a Chicago deep dish style pizza. The hot dog was ok - not sure what I was expecting, but it was fine. Overall, the food was good and the service was faster than expected and friendly. I'd like to come back and try some of the other menu options.
