I paid $51 for the scallops. A main dish. my plate arrived with only three scallops on top of a puree. while they tasted great, I felt cheated. if I had known it came with only three, I'd have ordered something else. fortunately my wife ordered the short ribs, which i bogarted half of, and they tasted great.
I really wanted to like Small Barn; the server was very nice and the patio seating was lovely, however, the food was mediocre and definitely overpriced for what we ate. I had the pear salad and the pears had a weird unappetizing texture. My husband ordered a steak and it was extremely tiny. While the patio was nice the inside seating looked dismal. Very nice folks and friendly atmosphere but we won’t be going back.
Date night with the wife. Delicious food and awesome service.
