I have been going to stampede around 15 years. Came home to my small town and decided to reminisce on old times at our stopping grounds and it was the worst mistake we made. First the DJ played 3 country songs in the 3 hours we were there. Then after being there a while my sister was kicked off the dance floor by the rude DJ because she did not know that drinks weren’t allowed on the dance floor anymore. After the incident with the DJ, my sister was then attacked by the female security guard with the pink hair, bad attitude and black lipstick. She kicked her out because she brought my drink on to the dance floor not knowing it was not allowed anymore. The female security that approached her had an aggressive attacking manor and had open scissors in her hands to cut her band off and went to forcefully grab her wrist to cut the bracelet off. She gave absolutely No explanation just straight force and that is not okay. Instead of kicking people out for a minor mistake like a open drink on the floor, you should probably have your power trip female security go into the bathroom and kick out the 18 year olds doing hard drugs off their bathroom counter. The only nice people still working at this establishment are the gentlemen behind the main front bar and the gentlemen with the dark and red beard. Do better management. Don’t go here unless you liked to be attacked by the rude miserable pink haired female security guard and the up tight Dj.

We had a great time here celebrating our friend’s 50th birthday!! You can reserve tables with a bottle service. This made it easier to keep our group together. We went at 6:30 so we could learn the line dances. The instructor was friendly, led us step-by-step, and made it fun to learn as a group. The younger crowd comes around 10/11 pm. I ordered a burger, which was delicious. They had a DJ who had a good mix of songs and the crowd was fun!

The venue is awesome!! One complaint I have though after going here twice... all the line dance they do aren't even to country music, it's to weird pop hip hop music. I love line dancing but the point of line dancing is to do it to country music. And everyone came to this bar bc it is a country bar. Just play more actual country please.
Also the crowd is kind of weird a bunch of young 20 somethings or 50+. I wish there were more normal aged people, like 30s and 40s

Before Google reviews I went here with my friends for a night of dancing, drinking and fun. The mechanical bull looked enticing I rode it a couples times and my friends asked me to ride it again. They tipped the operator to turn the thing on full boar before I even gripped. I saw my left ankle really close to my face. That night I have to drive home with a manual transmission. For a month and half I had to nurse the work ankle sprain of my life. I just realized this place is still open. I thought it had closed down, Hell yeah this is good news for me because I will return and get mine.

Went Friday night for my first time. Security's were complete A holes. They were very disrespectful to all my friends. And the bull riding $18 is ridiculous. Absolutely wouldn't recommend this place especially having Securitys that are complete A holes. I would fire them if I was the owner. Forsure better places to go to in old Town then this place.

Was cool but hard to participate if you don’t know line dancing. Wish they would have stopped to do lessons a little more periodically or had a beginner area or another area for just regular dancing

Use to love this place, & love line dancing but it’s so different now. They hardly play country music, & none of the popular line dance songs are played. The last few times I have been there, it has been dead on a Saturday night & everyone has told me it’s because the music is so terrible. I keep giving it a chance with hopes that it’ll be better but I just keeps getting worse..

I paid for the grossest nachos I have ever bought for 8 dollars here. I paid to get in and for the opportunity to buy the worst Nachos ever.

My daughter and a couple friends went to the Stampede on Halloween. They were not let in due the bouncers profiling saying they smelled like alcohol. They serve alcohol there and if they were not allowed to drink then i would assume they would put a bracelet on or whatever they do to acknowledge someone is under 21. Only one person out of the group had one drink and they were 22. So here we are, way to go Stampede bite the hand that feeds you!

I live in Redondo Beach so it’s about 2 hours to come visit. My friend flew in from Seattle last year and we are both dance fitness instructors (cardio-dance, cardio Hiphop, Zumba). We love all kinds of dance and she started taking line dancing lessons near Seattle over a year ago which peaked my interest. We decided to make a girls weekend last year to check this place out, we had a blast!!! There was mostly country music (as expected), but we were pleasantly surprised to hear a few other genres that we could get out and dance to since many line-routines are moderately advanced. This year we decided to do it again! We were so excited, unfortunately we arrived early to do the lesson but she taught just one moderately advanced routine and though we got it, there were no more lessons after about 20 minutes….soooooo we ended up sitting much of the night not knowing the routines but trying our best when a few “easier” ones came on. TBH we had more fun last year when the music was a bit more diverse but after reading reviews I see why it was mostly country. Plus, it is a “country line dancing bar” so, we can agree we signed-up for that. There were some people in Moonshine shirts that acted like they owned the dance floor and glared at us if we even tried to remotely have fun on the dance floor, so yeah, not a friendly group, everyone else we talked to were nice and the blonde at the back bar was awesome! If visiting I’d recommend going around 9pm and hitting Bailey’s for a change of vibe and music if interested around 10:30 before the line gets ridiculous! Either way it’s a good time if you enjoy your company and can go with the flow. Bonus, drinks and food well worth the low price.

Always a great time :) $20 cover charge for Thursday nights, but they're open from 6pm to 2am, so get your money's worth!

A group of 11 of us, visiting from Florida, went this past Saturday. It was not even 6:00 and they wanted to charge a $10 cover pp. The place was empty. We just wanted to go in and grab a drink, 'check the box' since some of our group was retired military and had been told it was military friendly. The guys out front, particularly the supposed manager, were unnecessarily rude to our request. He later made a snarky comment that ALL the workers were military. Really? My advice . . . cross the street and go to Baileys! Live music, great ambiance and no cover before 9:00 pm, as it should be!

The bouncers there are jerks with no customer service skills. I will never go back and if you read the other reviews you will see that this is a reoccuring problem. I recommend STAYING AWAY FROM STAMPEDE. The staff will ruin your night.

Horrible experience. I went expecting fun country line dancing music and all that was played was hip hop/rap music. It felt more like a club than a country bar. I was very disappointed and did not have a good time. Not worth the $10 cover charge for me to stand there for 3.5 hours waiting for a country song to come on. What happened to all the cowboys in nice shirts and cowboy hats? Bring back the 90s country vibe that the Stampede used to be. Won’t be going back. Very disappointed.
