we tried to order cold sandwiches to go this morning 8/25. the hostess informed us the first pickup for take out at 11:40. we informed her we just wanted to pick up sandwiches before our wine tours and she was set at a 11:40 pickup. we where not willing to wait 40 mins for a cold sandwich. we went to Campini instead! Campini is the best sandwich spot in temecula

I've eaten at Goat & Vine maybe seven or eight times, and always gotten a salad and a pizza previously. Both were always fantastic, the crust on their pizza is spectacular, different pizza flavors are great, we almost always get the Hatch Chile Honey chicken pizza - its great, but have tried several others as well and its always good.
But on most recent visit tried a sandwich for first time there - and the Reuben was absolutely incredible. The balance of flavors and ingredients was literally perfect. It wasn't a typically classic Reuben - no rye bread (sour dough instead which I loved), and the Russian dressing wasn't overly sweet like some can be. I don't think I can ever go there again without getting a Reuben too. Works out good though, even if its just 2 people - get a salad (brewhouse blue cheese is awesome) a pizza, and a reuben - and you'll be able to take home 3/4 of the pizza for an awesome lunch of leftovers the next day!
So in short - TRY THE REUBEN, you won't regret it.
Service is excellent too, servers are knowledgeable and friendly. Also good tap beer selection, but cocktails are great too. They make an excellent martini.

Read alot of reviews before trying and from everything I had read this place seemed amazing, and it was better than I expected. Cocktails were amazing and the hatch honey chicken pizza is phenomenal
Wow!! Must try, a gem of Temecula. Would do this is place of wine tasting or with wine tasting. Soooo worth it.

Ok this is not a review for the food. I normally do not do this but here it goes: I inadvertently made a reservation at the Goat and Vine in another state and a table would not be avail for 1.5 hours. The hostess said that the bar was open seating - no problem so we waited at the bar for 30 minutes. When two seats opened up I sat down but the same hostess came over and said: sorry I promised these seats to someone else. What??!! My wife was waiting outside and the couple had just walked up. We left and will never come back. Poor hostess service to say the least. Forget it!

We have been to Goat and Vine twice now. Once when they first opened and then just a few days ago. Love the atmosphere and the food is amazing. We had one of their specialty pizzas and it was delicious. Our server, Laura, was super nice and helpful as well. Next time I'm in Temecula I'm definitely coming back here.
