Came in for desert. But they sat us down right away. Enjoyed our desert and wine.

Membership and management are extremely rude and unhelpful. They do not care about their members , they only care about how much money they can squeeze out of you. Wine is ok but not worth the price or the terrible service.

Went on a Monday for lunch, had reservations as we were a party of 7. Ordered some appetizers, they were fine. Steak sandwich on focaccia was delicious. The turkey sandwich on gluten free bread was great (for GF people). The salad with pomegranate seeds was awesome. Hamburger was good. Heads up, they charge for soda pop refills. Service was less than impressive, didn’t clear appetizer plates, didn’t really check on us, disappeared for long periods of time and managed to charge us for things we didn’t order. Great location and scenery. Would go again for food and ambiance, and request another server.

Spent the day wine tasting and made reservations for lunch. Food was super yummy. Wines were decent. The grounds and landscaping is gorgeous.

Started with the hummus. It’s really thick and a bit dry. Needed to ask for more pita because it’s a big plate. The asparagus and prosciutto was good.

The mushroom risotto was super delicious and creamy. Very rich and filling. Caesar salad had a good flavor. The pesto chicken added a great punch to it. It’s huge! The superfood salad was one of my favorites. We added shrimp for an extra fee. They added 3 shrimp. Needed more! The corn chowder was yummy but needed to be hot. It was just lukewarm.

Nice location, great ambiance. Nice and quiet

Raw scallops, not sears and horrible pairing of garnishing. My risotto was mushroom and lacked flavor.

The chicken was powdery-dry in the risotto.

The Duck liver patè and mustard was good.

We declined the comp on food. It was just so bad, won't be going back.

Luckily the server was friendly or we would have had a worse night for my wife's bday.

Wine was ok. Sorry I don't remember what we sampled.

We are winery members and have been here a few times. We never had an issue until today! It was nine of us so we understood the service and food being slow, two of us wanted their ceviche and were told they run out even though it is in their menu so we order their tai chicken salad with bread and when we finally got our food, that's when everything went downhill. The salads had barely any dressing and the chicken was very dry so we ordered extra dressing just to be told they run out of dressing and they wouldn't complement the salads because they served them with the amount of dressing they always serve. This upset us because no one was asking for any complements we just wanted more salad dressing because the salads were dry! We demanded to speak to the manager and he came with a condescending attitude defending their stance. My sister told him to tell the chef to eat the salad to see if he thought it was edible. My brother told him an easy recipe for tai dressing with very little ingredients and asked why can't they just make more? I told him we were members and have been there many times and this was the first time we were treated like this to which he just shrugged his shoulders and made a "so what!?" expression. He made us feel unimportant with his condescending attitude. We cancelled our membership and will make sure no one we know will go eat there. I don't remember the manager's name but this happened today 08/19/24 at 1:45pm. I hope the owners read this and give this manager training on customer service in the food service and hospitality industry. In my humble opinion this restaurant is overrated and over priced and their 3.4 rating from all the low rating reviews they have don't surprise me. Perhaps the owners may consider overhauling their management team.

If you like bread pudding, do yourself a favor and stop in at the Leoness restaurant. Aaron is the pastry chef and makes one of the absolute best bread puddings I have ever had! Thank you for always making our visits to Leoness special, Aaron!

Based on my recent experience, I would not recommend visiting Leoness for their restaurant. Additionally, their policy of restricting patio dining to members only was quite off-putting. On Saturday, June 22, my husband and I decided to have a late lunch at Leoness Cellars, after not visiting for a few years. We began with a glass of wine in the tasting room before inquiring about seating at the restaurant, as we were unable to dine on their patio. The initial hostess assured us there was no wait. However, when we returned about 15 minutes later, a different hostess informed us that the restaurant does not seat guests between 3:00pm and 3:30pm to transition from lunch to dinner service. This policy came as a surprise to us, as it had not been mentioned earlier and is not noted on their website. The new hostess was notably rude and unhelpful, which left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Consequently, we chose to leave and have decided against returning to the restaurant in the future.

I love this restaurant! I took my friend there this evening for her birthday. We shared the Pistachio Encrusted Scallops and the DePortola salad. We had several requests and everyone was so kind and accommodating. Our server Austin was great - friendly, helpful, efficient. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere is beautiful.
Everything here is outstanding! ♥️♥️♥️

1 hour 25 min and they forgot about our table so no food....We were told the Chef was going to come talk to us, we saw him walk up to the door to the kitchen and turned around.Didn’t even give us a reason for only our table being skipped. He didn’t even give the us the courtesy of an explanation.Canceled our membership and wont be coming back.If you coming to Temecula Valley on vacation don’t come here it will ruin your Southern California experience.

We made a reservation for 6 pm for 4 people. We were seated right away and our waitress was amazing. She recommended the perfect wines and gave my husband options for his birthday treat. He chose the cheesecake and it was delicious. Beautiful atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Stunning location! The best thing about this place are the views and all of the outdoor seating. Kind of a pretentious attitude but not too bad. The dry rose is delicious! Prices are kind of high.

Can’t believe a winery restaurant that is unable to cook a medium rare steak. Mine was served well done. The waitress took it back and returned saying, the chef said this is how we do our steak, this is the best medium rare that We could do……… Unbelieable. Such a shame for a restaurant in such a nice
