Thornton Winery

I'm a regular to the concerts they have during the summer and the ambience, decor and overall experience is always a nice experience. The Easter Brunch was $125 per person plus %20 tip plus tax. We bought a $32 bottle of wine which is fine but after all was said and done it was $363. Overall everything was fine, just don't feel it was worth $363 for 2 people. Maybe in my older age I should avoid pricey buffets.

My mother and I were very disappointed in our Easter Brunch experience. Two years ago, although expensive, we enjoyed our dining environment and food. This year, not so much. The food was good, but not worth the price and serverved very stingy - prime rib cut was about paper thin and small, very small, lamb chops were served as "do you want one or two?" We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, which is listed on their regular menu as $26/bottle and we were billed $51.00! Outrageous!! Our total bill was $396.00. My mom is almost 96 yo and eats small portions, yet was denied a leftover box for a small piece of beef she did not finish. The staff could not have been more efficient and pleasant - I felt sorry for our waiter who had to deny a doggie bag. Overall, it was a total ripoff...what a shame.

The food is fabulous and the wine delicious. Thank you Cafe Champagne we always enjoy our visit!

We started off strong. Place was fairly dead with just a handful of tables. The server was training so we technically had 2 servers. At first, they were attentive. Then, halfway thru dinner they disappeared. We wanted to order more food and drinks but had to flag them down. By this time, there was 2 tables left-us and someone else. No one was sitting inside. I have no idea what they were doing. Then all of a sudden, after waiting almost 30 mins, them come and tell us it's last call. Just odd.

First timers to the cafe. AMAZINGLY delicious food! My M-I-L's food was not prepared correctly, and they put in a new order, but we had to wait 20 minutes for it to come out because they were preparing other orders first. Hers should have gone in ahead since we ordered prior and they got it wrong. All in all a good experience. Waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. 

Dead and dull place. Food was ok. We'll never go back. Our guests forgot their credit card and the staff stole it and used it within hours. A real stain on Temecula.

Had dinner and a wine flight at cafe champagne. Great service, food presentation and excellent flight options. Can't wait to come back to try another flight!

The food was great, wine of course was amazing and our server Travis was outstanding. Thank you Travis for your sweet and caring character. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Beautiful setting....sat on the patio. Food is delicious! Did a couple of tastings with lunch....YUM!

First time here and highly recommend. Beautiful patio, incredible views, the service was excellent and the wines are very good. Really a fun place.

We just had an amazing wedding reception at Thornton Winery! I had called several venues to inquire about a smaller party wedding reception and was not having much luck, as most cater to larger parties. I spoke with Danila the event coordinator at Thornton and she had many ideas how we could have our reception there. We made an appointment with her and after seeing a private room which overlooks the winery, we were sold! Day of our wedding we arrived to a beautifully set up event room and staff just waiting to serve our small party. Service and food were amazing! Danila, Estefania and all of our servers were top notch. If you are in need of an intimate wedding reception venue, Thornton Winery has the space for you.

Great food, great wine. Great staff!

Very difficult exiting. Three very drunk women next to us were loud rude and people were standing up in front of us filming for very long periods.
Boney James was good.

Great wine and music. I can't wait to go back for some more great jazz.
