Always great HK food, love their breakfast, but come early in the weekend.

The food here is absolutely disgusting. The “scrambled eggs with beef” tasted like a sad fried egg, and the stir-fried green beans were so undercooked and hard it felt like chewing on rubber bands. Honestly, this place is a total joke. Do yourself a favor and stay far away!

Very crowded restaurant. I usually order to go for not waiting on the long list. Food is still good and warm when picked up.

Asked for an ice tea refill but was refused service because they said there was a line. Felt disrespected.

It hit the spot! A friend suggested this place as their local favorite canto family style restaurant. Cleaner, less watery or greasy version of other lunch special/seafood canto restaurants in mpk. However, they have different to less items as other full seafood canto family style restaurants.

We'd come back if we crave their menu of items, or have interest in certain items not in other restaurants.

Chinese broccoli $16.50
Stir fry string bean $14.99
Deep fried pork chop with spicy salt $15.50
Sizzling hot pot chicken $16.50
Seafood crispy noodle (couldn't find it on the menu but they had it).

I'm stunned! For takeout, you gave me rice instead of spaghetti, and garlic sauce instead of black pepper. What kind of genius packer is this? I've lost my appetite in an instant 😒and no tableware🥲

The salty and peppery wings are tasty but quite salty, which might be too much for some people. The shrimp and egg chow mein was bland for my taste, though adding chili improved it. The place is spacious but can get crowded on weekends.

I ordered pick up from here but the waiters are so rude. I asked where can I pick up online order, a waiter literally looked at me and walked away. I asked again, and he just walked past me. So rude to customers will not come back

If you’re craving that real-deal Hong Kong café experience, Alice Kitchen in Temple City absolutely nails the vibe. From the interior design to the menu, it really feels like you’re dining in HK.

Just a heads up – weekends get packed. You’ll need to register at the kiosk, and my wait time was around 50 minutes. But once seated, the food came out super fast, and the flavors hit home.

🌟 Must-try:
Spare Ribs with Honey Garlic Sauce – This was the star of the meal. The sweet honey and garlic combo is unexpectedly perfect. I haven’t had anything quite like it elsewhere.

😕 On the flip side, the #110 Eggplant with Diced Chicken and Salted Fish was a bit too greasy for my taste, and the chicken was scarce.

Also worth noting: the restaurant gets pretty loud and busy, so it’s not ideal for long chats, but perfect for a quick, flavorful meal.

It is one of the best in LA so far. We tried the next morning for breakfast and it was not as good as garden cafe. So we reduced it to 4 stars.
