Normally, I love this place they always accommodate my vegetarian needs and are very kind. Today I got to go order and granted I should’ve checked before leaving the restaurant, but I was in a rush and they assured me that my food was vegetarian and exactly what I ordered. I come home and there is meat in my dish and we called to just simply ask for a refund for that particular item on my card, not even the whole check. the woman on the phone started getting extremely defensive and yelling at us And it was overall an Unpleasant experience.

Went for a birthday dinner today, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was overall satisfactory, but most of the food was on the salty side, so I deducted one star. Everything else, such as service, is very good~
The eight of us were served a total of six dishes, including:
1) One roast duck
2) Mixed vegetable pot
3) Chili Fermented fermented vegetables
4) Fish-flavored eggplant
5) Curry beef brisket
6) Dry fried beef river
The dishes are all delicious, the roast duck is the most outstanding. I originally ordered the garlic bone, but unfortunately it was sold out, so I will have to wait to try it next time. The portions are quite large, and they have to be packed for eight people, so it’s quite a meal!

I never know what to think of this place. For some dishes, as one reviewer put it, they are "underrated". Sure. But are they revolutionary in any way? No, definitely not. Are they knock your socks off GREAT? No, not quite. But they're relatively priced OK, the staff is nice, and for the price, it wasn't bad.
In previous visits, I always felt that it was just that: Passable. My last dish I had here though, the pork chops in soup noodles was pretty good. Their rice porridge was actually nice and smooth, and the chicken meat was actually really soft, which was really good and full of flavor. Their French Toast isn't as big as the other place across the street we won't mention, and they didn't add any special jams like peanut butter or Kayan, but still good! Their milk tea I felt is on par with the area, but I prefer my milk tea stronger. So the TLDR is, I need to come back and try more dishes from this place, because my last visit was surprisingly better than the other times I've been here. Not bad!

Food was good, service was average, for some reason, my order sat on the counter for a while, now the lady who took my order, obviously knew that was my ORDER. IDK, thanks to the waiter who put 1 and 1 together

It was my first time trying Bay Garden Cafe; I ordered my food to go and it was quick and easy to order and pick up, and my won ton soup was really good. I will go back and try other items on their menu.

This place Sucks!?
I believe Bay Garden Café is underrated for its authentic Cantonese food and HK café cuisine. Despite being around for over 6+ years, the place doesn't seem as crowded as it used to be. They offer a great selection of Cantonese dishes, and their service is consistently fast. The pricing is very reasonable considering the generous portions of food you receive. The dishes are authentic, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. However, I must deduct one star due to the very dirty restrooms and old glasses/dishware.Quick tips: Parking is available right behind the restaurant, which is shared with other shops in the same plaza. Street parking is also an option. They offer a lunch special from 8 am to 3 pm daily at a very reasonable price. While many people may be drawn to the new Alice’s Kitchen (one of the best HK cafés in the area) across the street, I encourage giving Bay Garden Café a try if you're looking for something different. You might discover something you like even better at Bay Garden Café.
