I've had my eye on this place for a while but haven't been able to find the time to come until today and I think I've found my newest local study spot. This place is perfect for people that are studying/working alone or with maybe one more person. Got here around 11:30 on a Sunday and there was only one other person in here! Ordered a hot caramel macchiato that didn't taste like boba shop coffee, it was nice, strong and not too sweet! It gradually began to fill up as the day went on but never got too packed. It's fairly quiet and they don't play distracting music which is a huge plus. They have a bunch of outlets available for people working on laptops and snacks for when you get hungry.

Went to cafe Roule yesterday and they got my drink wrong! Haha I ordered the matcha rose and the lady working made a matcha mango instead. I didn't want to make a fuss so I didn't say anything- but ya they should really repeat the order back to confirm they heard it correctly. ANYWAY, Cafe Roule has pretty good wifi (better than most cafes) and they're also pretty nice and quiet compared to other places. There's plenty of seating, they do stamp cards, there's tables with outlets, and there is a unisex restroom. There's a small parking lot and also nearby street parking. They close pretty early which sucks, but that's alright. It can get pretty crowded during after school hours.

I wish I found this place earlier! Awesome boba shop and study spot with tables and outlets. It's actually quiet here to unlike some places that play music very loud (unless there's some chatty people). The staff working are really nice. I came soon after they opened and they wiped a table down for me. Rose oolong milk tea had good oolong flavor. It was very enjoyable. I want to try more of their teas. The fish balls were ok. A bit small in terms of quantity compared to price, but it's like that at a lot of places. They have a couple of parking spaces behind the store. Otherwise watch out since it's 1 or 2 hour street parking.

The older couple (owners?) who work here are very nice but have some difficulty understanding English, which is fine but you may find yourself repeating or using Google translate. It can get crowded in the late afternoon and I wouldn’t say we’re 6’ apart. I enjoy coming here since it’s close by. I’m excited to try their other drinks. I had the waffle sundae which was good a bit dense, and very filling.

My first time here! Drinks are good! Very refreshing and flavors of the drinks are well balance! They also serve some snacks and desserts Great atmosphere and very cozy. Love how relaxing the LoFi is. The drinks are pretty decent as well. I had the white chocolate and matcha tea. The staff is a bit robotic and awkward admittedly. But they were relatively quick. The Belgian waffle was fine, your standard Belgian waffle I mean. It had a chocolate drizzle which I wasn't aware of. I think they should ask if it should have a topping, a selection of them and inform if it adds to the price. The syrup on the side makes sense but it did seem a bit bland. So it wasn't remarkable, just decent. The atmosphere is very quaint.

My friend and I wanted to seek out a cafe on this hot summer day to do some work and be productive. This is definitely not my first time here at Cafe Roule so this review is long overdue! If you are looking for a more quiet and lowkey cafe to be productive in, Cafe roule is for you. Tucked in a slightly hard to find location, this cafe is has a calming atmosphere and usually is not very busy (hence theres less noise). Walking in, the ambience is welcoming and reminds me of cafes in Korea, it is clean and the music is kind of a mix of Lofi and spa music! The wall decor is adorable and I like that there is plenty of good lighting--I very much dislike a dark atmosphere when needing to be productive! To begin, it is kind of hard to find parking. The location only has a really tiny parking lot in the back that fits like 5 cars. So I had to park in the residential area and walk to Cafe Roule. Not a huge deal though! I do wish however, that there were more outlets. There's only a few outlets that only a few seats can reach, so if you are not near one you cannot charge your phone or laptop. Also, the air conditioning is lacking. After sitting here for the past 2-3 hours working on our projects, my friend and I both felt a bit sweaty and that the air inside the cafe felt stuffy. I am not sure if there is central AC here but what I saw was a separate AC unit near the barista with a large fan underneath to blow the cold air out towards the seats. This is definitely not enough to circulate around the entire cafe in my opinion because it is quite stuffy. Now onto the drinks..I got the Aloha Matcha (mango and matcha) and my friend got the strawberry coconut matcha. (See my pic!) They are definitely pleasing to the eyes and once mixed they're completely green. The drinks are good, not amazing or iconic and not bad at all. I'm not entirely sure if this is a coincidence or not but after drinking our respective drinks, within 10 minutes both me and my friend felt our stomachs hurt. Our drinks do not have any dairy in them as well in case you think it is that. (We are also both not lactose intolerant!) All in all, I would give this establishment a 4/5 stars. Come here if you would like a nice cold drink and calm atmosphere to do your work in :)

Super quiet and small space to study or get work done. It gets a bit hot at times so make sure to ask for them to turn on the air conditioner. Lol. The staff is nice and it's a relaxing environment in general.

Cafe Roule is a really cute place!! Great for working, meeting up with friends, and studying. Drinks and food are great!! People who come here are serious about wanting quietness. The one major downfall is Cafe Roule needs to invest in a heavy duty exhaust fan. The whole place smells extremely greasy and it's very uncomfortable to stay and focus. Even with a mask on, it's hard to block out the greasy smell. They really need to do something about it because this is an easy fix! Please do something about it!!!

Super cute coffee shop that my friend took us to before we left California. Lots of small tables with outlets that students could study at. There is also a long table in the back with extension cords if there were people interested in studying in groups. I got the mango jasmine green tea and it was very strong. Definitely provides a kick and has a lot of caffeine. Staff were extremely respectful and nice. If you ever have a long day of work/study or need something to wake you up, this is the spot for you!
