I recently had a gathering with my friends, and we decided to try out a new local Chinese restaurant. The biggest impression this place left on us was how incredibly budget-friendly it is!

What truly sets this restaurant apart is their $9.99 Special Deal, which is available all day long, from Monday through Sunday! The special pricing runs for the entire week. This spot is worth checking out!

LA's Best Value Chinese! 💎

Seriously, $10 per person for an authentic feast! The owner is the MVP: They refuse all pre-made food! Everything is fresh, cooked to order, and delicious.

MUST GET: The Shredded Pork Spring Pancakes ($9.99!) is a crazy good deal for the portion.

Pro Tip: Their Casseroles/Pots (煲) are perfect for a hearty meal.

If you want cheap, authentic, high-quality Chinese food, this is the place. 5/5 Stars!

🇺🇸 Hot Claypot Rice & Pork Tripe Chicken for LA Winter — JIAO CLUB
📍 5807 Rosemead Blvd, Temple City, CA 91780
Located in Temple City, English name MEBO JIAO CLUB, tucked in the corner of a plaza.

As the weather cools down, nothing beats a steaming hot meal🔥
Their sign “No Pre-Made Dishes” caught my eye — everything is freshly cooked to order, full of wok aroma, and great value for money💰

1️⃣ Claypot Rice 🍚🥢
Cooked on-site, very authentic and flavorful.
Made with premium Japanese rice and pasteurized egg, topped with high-quality Chinese sausages, cured meat, spinach, enoki mushrooms, corn, and egg.
If you love crispy rice at the bottom, just let it cook a bit longer!

2️⃣ Golden Soup Pork Tripe Chicken 🐖🐓
Made with half a yellow-feather chicken and two portions of pork tripe, plus enoki and king oyster mushrooms, bok choy, napa cabbage, four abalones, and noodles.
A rich variety of ingredients — fresh, hearty, and nourishing.

The restaurant is spacious with private rooms, perfect for family gatherings.
A comforting meal that warms both the heart and the stomach👍🏽

P.S. The manager is super handsome, the staff are super nice, and they played with Fuller for a long time 🐶💕

This might be one of the most ceremonial Chinese meals I’ve ever had in LA! The claypot rice is cooked right in front of you — from layering the rice and toppings to pouring the sauce and sealing the lid, the whole sizzling process is such a satisfying sight. The server mentioned they use imported Japanese rice, purified water, and even sterilized eggs so you can safely enjoy the soft-boiled yolk — every bite of rice and egg is just pure comfort.

We also ordered the fish maw chicken soup with pork tripe, which was packed with premium ingredients like abalone, pork tripe, and yellow chicken. The broth was rich, silky, and naturally sweet — perfect for dipping veggies. After a long day, having such a nourishing soup honestly felt like redemption. And with their Cantonese-style sweet soy sauce on the side? Absolutely divine.

I came here recently and was really impressed with their new dishes! The 猪肚鸡 chicken pot was amazing — rich, comforting broth with a deep herbal flavor that’s perfect for colder days. The claypot rice was also a standout — fragrant, full of wok aroma, and the crispy rice on the bottom was so satisfying.

Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving comforting Chinese flavors. Highly recommend checking out their new menu items!

Seriously, the best value Chinese food in LA. We paid around $10/person and were completely stuffed. Huge portions, super authentic, and the owner is the real deal—they refuse to use pre-made dishes! Everything is fresh and made to order
• MUST ORDER: The Shredded Pork in Peking Sauce with Spring Pancakes ($9.99!) is a steal. The Spring Pancake basket is massive! 💯
• Don't skip the Casseroles : The Yam and Fresh Shrimp Pot was massive and so flavorful, perfect over rice.

This restaurant has a large space, suitable for gatherings, and specializes in fusion cuisine. The four of us ordered six dishes, and the portions were huge, especially the dishes priced at 9.9. We were very satisfied with the meal and even took a lot of leftovers home.

My friends and I visit Mebo Jiao Club recently.🔥 The Golden Soup Chicken with Pork Tripe was amazing — rich, flavorful broth packed with half a chicken, pork tripe, abalone, mushrooms, veggies, and noodles. Every bite felt so comforting and hearty! The Pork Rib & Pumpkin Pot was another winner — tender ribs, sweet pumpkin, taro, and lotus root, all perfectly seasoned and full of flavor 🍲 Plus, rice is free and they use high-quality grains you can actually see on display! The restaurant is clean, cozy, and even has KTV private rooms, perfect for group dinners or parties. It also has many specials, will definitely come back and try next time~🌟

New spot in Temple City! The sign says “No Pre-made Dishes,” and they really mean it — everything tastes super fresh. We ordered the Golden Soup Pork Belly Chicken (comes like a mini hotpot with noodles and veggies) and the Lamb & Radish Pot. The staff was friendly and even helped adjust the flavor when we asked. Cozy place, great portions, and very fair prices. Definitely coming back to try the crab pot next time!

Just tried MEBO JIAO CLUB at Temple City after seeing it all over my social media feed! Heard they recently updated their menu and get super busy on weekends, so I picked a chill weekday to check it out.

This place serves fusion Chinese cuisine, and I spotted their new Pork Belly with Golden Soup at the next table—it looked and smelled so good, I was honestly tempted to ask for a bite! Next time I’m definitely coming with more friends to order that.

They’ve got tons of deals going on right now—lots of $9.99 specials (no order limit!), and Monday through Friday, there’s a different dish each day at 50% off.

The vibe inside is upscale, with calligraphy pieces by the famous Xiangsheng master Jiang Kun and beautiful lanterns adding to the ambiance. They even have private rooms features with karaoke with a minimum spend starting at $299.

Here’s what we tried:

Crab with Vermicelli Hot Pot
Only $19.99 on Wednesdays! Loaded with a whole crab, tofu, shrimp, soft taro, pumpkin, and flavorful vermicelli. So rich and satisfying—perfect with rice.

Steamed Chicken with Mushrooms
A $9.99 special, and the portion was huge—can’t believe it’s that cheap! The chicken was tender and juicy, and it’s low-calorie, great for anyone watching their diet.

Black Pepper Venison
The venison was surprisingly tender with no gamey taste. It had a mild spicy kick that built up—so comforting, especially for fall and winter. I even convinced the table next to us to order it too!

Overall, this place offers an upscale atmosphere with very reasonable prices. Plenty of parking too. Great for group dinners or special occasions—highly recommend!

The venison was an absolute highlight — tender, fragrant, and packed with flavor, kind of like an upgraded version of black pepper beef, but with a finer texture. Their wooden bucket fish is half-price every Thursday, only $30 for a massive bucket! The soup is milky white and rich — honestly, with that fish and a pot of rice, the whole table could be full and happy 🤣. The Dongpo pork only cost $1 with a $100 spend, and even though I wanted to try the preserved mustard pork next time, I don’t think I can give up the Dongpo pork 🥹. Pair it with their bucket rice, and it’s just unbeatable!
