Went here hoping to find the same taste and comfort as their other location (Mandarin Noodle House) in Monterey Park... worst idea ever!!! Would never come back here again even if they gave out the food for free. Atmosphere is okay, clean tables with plenty of space (now I know why) but service and food was terrible if I could rate this place in the negatives, I would. I called in my order for pickup immediately got attitude over the phone. I ordered 3 orders of pan fried dumplings and the lady only wanted to give me 3 tiny servings of dumpling sauce (Denny from the Monterey Park location use to give out per person as well but he would also make a really good dumpling sauce himself which he was always more than happy to make for my family). Now food wise.... TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!! There's nothing like the dumplings at the Monterey Park location, you could taste the love they put into their dumplings there, but here???? Every dumpling we ate felt like the chef hated their job and hate you too just by making you eat those thick flavorless things they call dumplings. Not even dumpling sauce could make me enjoy them. We threw out an entire order because they weren't even worth the calories. Please DO NOT EAT HERE if you are looking for the same comfort as the location on Garvey. Hoping Denny opens up his own place soon because I REFUSE TO EAT HERE EVER AGAIN. Really missing the family aspect at this location, other location makes you feel like you're right at home and never have been this dissatisfied. I don't even right reviews on places but I really am hoping to save someone else from thinking eating at this place is a good idea.

Food is fresh, the place is very clean, the prices are reasonable and the service is quick. One of my top favorite Chinese restaurants!

Ordered beef needle, shanxi knife cut fried noodles and saliva chicken. Flavor is 100% what you get in Taiwan. Price and portion is not bad! Recommend all dishes.

Located right on corner and very easy to park. Food is decent. We have dined in but mostly done take out. Service is terrible and person at check out is always the same rude lady. I walk in and stand and wait at register for her to acknowledge that I am standing there. Not comfortable feeling and I don’t think I need to go back.

Excellent meal with enough for leftovers. We had the spicy beef, pan fried dumplings, eggplant/basil, and dry noodles with house special sauce. Great service, despite how busy it was.

Noodles are delicious and affordable. A conscientious business, worth recommending. If you want to eat noodles, come here. It’s great. I will come here again and bring friends and family. The front desk service is also very good?

To ease some inquiring minds, this restaurant used to be one of the Mandarin Deli locations. After the much-undisclosed drama and change of ownership the monicker was changed and so did the quality of food. The menu has remained mostly the same throughout decades with this location seemingly having additional items. The quality and taste do appear to differ from their origins though. Although they offer more hand-pulled options, the dumplings here are not as delicate tasting and often times bland in filling.Although still good, there was just something lacking with each visit.
