Today, 03/10/2025, (2:00pm), I purchased buy 1 get 1 foods. And when its done, the the portion only half of the regular price food. When i asked the employee, why its only half the size of the regular food, they answer because its on sale buy 1 get 1 free. Is this a scam or fraud ? And i says, in other location they give me a regular size doesn't matter if its on sale, guess what the answer they give me ? Then go to other place, not here. Wow.. amazing answer.

I wanted to love this place but I left partially let down. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the cook is patient. But, my order of fried chicken fried rice was undercooked which I had to ask them to take back. I'm no expert but the chicken seemed pink and I didn't want to risk it. Besides that the dessert was good and I kept it safe and enjoyed the durian rolls instead. I'm glad this place is a short distance if not I think I'd be more affected if I had drove a long way here.

DO NOT get their dessert or drinks from the fridge unless you want to have immediate DIARRHEA.

The food in the fridge is more than a week old. A disgustingly terrible taste hits your mouth right as you put it on your tongue.

A friend unknowingly ate a few bites and immediately starting to bloat and had constant diarrhea within an hour.

The food and atmosphere were great, but my experience was soured by an incident after dinner. Due to being strapped for cash, I left a modest tip. The waitress, a chubby Chinese woman in her 30s with limited English, picked up the receipt, showed it to the staff, and slammed it back on the table in a mocking way. This happened at 8:30 PM on July 8. I felt embarrassed and unappreciated. I understand it wasn’t much, but it was still a tip. It left me wondering how others who can’t tip at all might be treated.

Nestled in the heart of Arcadia, Phoenix Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey through Southern Chinese desserts and Cantonese comfort food. As a frequent patron, it has become my go-to destination whenever cravings for authentic Cantonese flavors arise. One of the highlights of Phoenix Restaurant is their traditional approach to crafting dishes, exemplified by their exquisite red bean paste soup. Cooked using the time-honored method with dried orange peel and lotus seeds, this dessert embodies nostalgia with every spoonful. The texture of the red bean paste is impeccably balanced, meeting my discerning taste preferences perfectly. For those seeking a savory indulgence, the Yandchow fried rice stands out as a quintessential comfort dish. Bursting with flavor and expertly prepared, each bite offers a comforting embrace reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Whether enjoyed as a standalone delight or paired with other Cantonese classics, the Yandchow fried rice never fails to impress.Beyond the culinary delights, Phoenix Restaurant prides itself on exceptional service that adds to the overall dining experience. Attentive staff members ensure that every visit is met with warmth and efficiency, enhancing the ambiance of the restaurant. Moreover, the reasonable prices at Phoenix Restaurant make it an accessible option for both casual dining and special occasions. With quality cuisine at affordable rates, patrons can indulge in authentic Cantonese fare without breaking the bank.
