We just had the greatest afternoon with Lucas at Bella Luna Winery! All of the wines we sampled were delicious and the process and stories Lucas shared made it a great experience! I highly suggest going to Bella Luna! The grounds are lovely but it’s the wine and talking with Lucas that make it memorable!
A gloomy New Year's Eve afternoon in Templeton, what could be better? Well, if you're interested in wine/winemaking and get hold of Lucas and his winemaking stories, you'll be amazed, entertained and provided a bag of tips-n-tricks guaranteed! Absolutely awesome experience talking to him! I was mostly interested in Italian varietals... and those are enjoyable! Personally lean to Nebiolo, but both Sangioveses were the best that day. Outstanding family owned winery. All of the wines were very good, with the Sangiovese and the Zinfandel being our favorites. The tasting room was very nice and comfortable, and Lucas was a fantastic host, making us feel welcome and sharing some great stories. We’ll definitely be back!
