I just tried a bottle last night and loved it. I like Merlot and Bordeaux blends, Daou, and Pomeral. This fit right into my sweet spot. Nice fruits, enough tannin for structure and a smooth finish. A nice surprise alone and nice for entertaining..
We’ve been members at Clesi for a couple years now, and the good wines and great people continue to deliver. It feels like their momentum just keeps building and the wines keep getting better and better. A must visit casual winery when in SLO county.
Clesi’s Italian varietals are first class. Their wines were reminiscent of the fine wines we tasted on a trip to Italy a couple years back, smooth, lite, easy to drink. Becky provided us with the back story on each of their varietals and the different regions in Italy they are native to. Clesi winery is now on our short list when in the Paso Robles (Templeton) area.
