Clesi’s Italian varietals are first class. Their wines were reminiscent of the fine wines we tasted on a trip to Italy a couple years back, smooth, lite, easy to drink. Becky provided us with the back story on each of their varietals and the different regions in Italy they are native to. Clesi winery is now on our short list when in the Paso Robles (Templeton) area.

Stopped here last week with the family for the first time and I was blown away! I absolutely loved the Italian varietals they had! The Malvasia Bianca was incredible. This a great place to visit whenever visiting the Central Coast. I will for sure be back many more times.

One of my favorite wineries to visit any time I pass through the Paso Robles area. The owners Adrienne and Chris treat everyone like family. Highly recommend

Fantastic wines and a beautiful property. Love hanging at their tasting room in Templeton and love stocking up on wines until the next visit. 10/10!

Chris nailed it with the 2022 Convivio.

We visited for the first time the weekend before Christmas with our friends and fellow wine lovers and it was so wonderful. The kids loved it running around the property and we had an equally lovely time tasting together. Adrienne and Chris make some amazing wine. They were also very nice hosts. Thank you Adrienne for the recommendation of heading to Creston afterwards. We will definitely be back.

Sitting quietly on a cliff in Cayucos, gazing out over the vast Pacific Ocean, I sip a magnificent 2022 CLESI Sagrantino. Reflecting on the world, its rhythms, and entanglements—much of which remains enigmatically complex. Yet one thing is clear: Chris Ferrara is the finest winemaker, for he is, above all, a farmer. As the Italians say, “Chi semina raccoglie"—those who sow, reap.

My wife and I stopped in unannounced this past Sunday morning. Adrienne was out front doing some work with their son (?Gio) and their australian sheep dog McCoy. Adrienne was kind enough to stop what she was doing, greet us warmly, and guide is through a delightful wine tasting over the course of an hour. We learned a great deal about a family operated vinyard, having fun playing fetch wtih McCoy a good bit of the time. Adrienne was genuinely engaged and lovely to chat with. We walked away with some bottles of tasty sagrantino and felt like it was a 100% worthwhile, enriching experience. We hope to return if we pass through Paso Robles again :-)

I have purchased Clesi wines for nearly 8 years yet live in San Diego. So Today was a rare day of tasting for me and our group of three with hostess Adrienne Ferrara. She offered us the latest Clesi vintages which tasted heavenly. Now that they offer their black-label estate wines, it’s even more special.

I loved visiting this winery! We stopped in during spring 2022, and were able to make a tasting appointment for the same day. It was a drizzly day but it made the surrounding land even more picturesque. The tasting room was open and plenty dry! There is also a very enthusiastic winery dog that will play fetch with you forever! He was great and I had so much fun sipping wines and tossing the ball for him. The owner was also wonderful to chat with, very relaxed and friendly. The wine itself is tasty and we went home with a few bottles. Definitely plan to visit again the next time we are in town!

Went on last Thursday afternoon without a reservation. As soon as we arrived, a group of 6, the hostess started pouring wine which we thought was great. Absolute great wines, we enjoyed every single one of them. Our experience wasn’t the best though, everyone in the group felt we were rushed. There was no one else tasting other then our group but the hostess didn’t really interact with us. Poured us wine and left. Not much about the making of these great wines. Would love to go back and give them another shot. Chris, the winemaker, was great when we spoke to him over the phone.
