Fries are skinny and crispy, like potato chips. Be prepared for this. The chili burger was just OK. They provided 2 small napkins in bag. I had to ask for more, and he gave me only 2 more. For a chili burger, this would normally be an issue. However, not much chili to fall out on hand or table. $15.60 combo included the 4% surcharge for credit card use. Pass

Average food at best. Surprised it's lasted so long here.

I’m going to be 100% honest never had such an amazing burger in my life wow so flipping delicious ? had me going for seconds. First second I walked in the owner greeted me with a smile and then proceeded to take my order with the most respect. I then sat down and I had a look around and not too shabby If I do say so myself wow what tidy little place the owner does a great job of keeping the place clean. Also not to mention that the kitchen was in my vision and I could see how clean it was and the owner cooked my food and make sure to use gloves. I just want to end thing off here by saying, great food, great service, great atmosphere, will come again 10/10.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy for wheelchairs

I am appalled at how rude the man that always works behind the counter making the burgers was to me. I saw him using a dirty dish rag with sanitizer to wipe the trash bins and tables, then he proceeded to make my burger with his bare hands without washing them or wearing any gloves, right in front of me! When I brought it up he became extremely aggressive and combative coming up with all kinds of excuses about how he needs to keep taking the gloves on and off throughout the day. Also he went off about something with water getting in the gloves but then he admits he uses them when preparing cold sandwiches. When I insisted , he finally put on a gloves, but the bottom line is it was such a simple request and he made a HUGE production out of it. Then he proceeds to accost me while I am eating outside telling me I left my hat inside and that maybe he should wear a glove when handling my hat for me. Not going to let a business owner get away with this kind of behavior. Sorry but there are consequences. And all of this for what was a mediocre burger to begin with, certainly nothing special and not worth the awful experience I had. I always see this guy in there at the Thousand Oaks location, and was so shocked and appalled at how utterly RUDE and NASTY he was toward me. Buyer beware!

Classic and authentic burger joint; lots of character, good burgers, crispy fries. Reminds me of Tasty's DRIVE IN in Oxnard from the 80s if anyone remembers that.

I tried to give it three stars, but I just couldn't. I ordered a club sandwich which was OK except there was only two pieces of turkey in the entire sandwich. Served with fries for almost $12. Who does this? I feel bad, I'm sure it's a mom and pop place, and they're just trying to make a living, but if you want to survive, you've got to step up your game. I won't be back.

I used to love this place, but hadn't been in the area for a few years. Oh man, has the quality dropped. I got a cheeseburger one day, it came with cold cheese and the cheapest patty they could supply. Next day I tried a gyro, the meat was flavorless and dry and the sauce was just Greek yogurt somebody stored in the same fridge as a cucumber. The veggies were some kind of weird ultra-diced that I'm assuming were cheapest. No texture whatsoever.

Was in the area to have a family visit with my mom. My family wanted to eat something quick and the kids all wanted McDonald's, I saw this place and gave it a try instead. It took a little longer that a fast food place but the food was better quality and less expensive. Kids loved the cheeseburgers and onion rings.
