Found this place on accident. Surprisingly delighted by their offerings and the quality. First, let me tell you that the large sandwich is worth two meals. But don't let me tell you how to eat their food...just let me tell you what I ordered. I have been here twice. I ordered something different each time. First time, I ordered I got the Americano. Second time, I got the italiano. Omg!!! Both sandwiches knocked my socks off. Chock full of high quality meats and cheeses...and the toppings were an absolute delicious complement to the sandwich. The bread is fresh and soft and a perfect delivery tool for the amazing ingredients. When you get here, there will probably be a line. But it moves very fast. Don't be discouraged. Just get in line. The person taking your order knows all the sandwiches very well and they are happy to help you navigate the menu if you need it. I went with five friends. We all got a different variety of sandwiches. Everyone was pleased. This place also serves as an Italian market. Lots of nice offerings. Including containers of sauces and frozen pasta's and even lasagna. Great idea to take some of these well-made ingredients and make some thing. Fabulous at home. They do have specials. Usually a half sandwich and a side for about the same money as a large sandwich. So, it depends on if you are good at managing leftovers or just want enough food to finish in one sitting. I haven't made my way around to the lunch specials because I'm still working on their specialty sandwiches. Hot tip: get a side of the Italian dressing to dip your sandwich in. OMG! It's so good! They make it in-house and it is very obvious that they put a lot of love into each of their things even their Italian dressing. Are you still reading? Get your butt over there and order something. Don't forget I told you a large sandwich is a lot. Have a great day! I hope you enjoy it as much as me and my friends did.

Love Rhineland Deli! My first time to the new location and the food is still amazing. We got the Italian Combo, Rhineland Special and Reuban and it's hard to pick my fav. They were all delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating! We are very happy for the new owner (previous employee) and wish you all continued business!

This was my first time here and I'm glad I checked it out. I was happy to see that they offered Dutch Crunch because the only other place I know that offers it is The Sandwich Spot in Newbury Park. This location is on TO Blvd with ample parking and is a small business.I got a large $14 smoke turkey sandwich on sourdough. I had to pay extra for cheese which I was surprised to discover because I've never had to pay for cheese - avocado add on, yes, but for cheese, it typically comes with it. When my order was ready, I was surprised at how small it looked but when I got home, the meat stack was hefty and my hubby and I were able to split it and get full. After eating it, I can't say I'm craving to come back anytime soon but if I need a quick lunch, I'll add this place to the rotation.

I love sandwiches and while visiting family near by I went to Yelp to find a sandwich shop. I am always looking for a new causal spot to grab food. The inside of the place has a decent selection of chips, candy and you can add potato & macaroni salad side too. I had the Roast beef and my husband the chicken salad. I liked my roast beef and had half of it for left overs and my husband ate half & my brother ended up having the rest. I would definitely check it out again, and probably just share one sandwich and get chips and a side. There were a couple tables outside and I don't think there were any inside. Plenty of parking in the lot.

My daughter recently found this spot. We used to go to Bouchon in Beverly Hills before it closed down. Rhineland Deli has an excellent French Dip sandwich. I highly recommend it.

So, a few weeks ago I hope a hankering for a "Drag it thru the Garden" sandwich from Rhineland, cause I think the last time I ate there was my last review 8 yrs ago I debated re-reviewing this sandwich, but since I highly recommend it last time, I felt I HAD to write an updated one.I'm giving it 3 stars this time, unlike the 5 stars I gave last time. 3 stars cause if I didn't know better, I would've thought it okay but not worth getting again, cause this is the only "vegetarian food" I'll eat. I The best part of this particular sandwich is the nine-grain bread they made the sandwich on. Thick slices, fresh and full of flavor, as if it was baked fresh that morning! I don't know if it's a way of cutting costs or what, but you now only have a choice of rye, white, Italian roll, or wheat... The nice thickly sliced 9-grain bread is GONE! The yummy stacked bean sprouts are GONE! The thinly sliced cucumbers for that much-needed texture in the sandwich, you guessed it! GONE! This vegetarian sandwich on slices of bread listed above comes with bread, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo & mustard! That's it!I won't be craving these sandwiches again anytime soon! Bummer! I've lived here in TO my entire life, nearly 53 years, and the two most epic sandwich places (delis) are no longer... Delisies Deli "Pastrami Sandwiches" are gone forever! If you never had one then you have missed out on spectacular! And Rhineland's "Drag it Through the Garden"?!might as well consider this closed too. Same name, same location, but nothing worth seeking out
