The food at Sesame Inn is absolutely delicious. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. They are a wonderful family owed business in our community.

Amazing American style Chinese food. Purely surprised that they exist here. If anyone makes american chinese food gourmet, this place would be that.

Sesame Inn is Hidden in a small shopping center in Newberry Park offering take out only. I was blown away at how delicious the food was! I honestly wasn't expecting to experience such a positive outcome I had a craving for Chinese food and gave them a try. I ordered the kung pao chicken, the shrimp with egg plant and the veggie rolls. A few days later I tried the broccoli beef too! The food was so delicious and authentic bursting with flavor. I highly recommended this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

Quality has gone down. Ordered Lo Mien which was all noodles two tiny pieces of cabbage and maybe three slices of gross beef. Honey chicken wasn’t much better, soggy and bland

*** Vegetarian Review *** From what I was told, this place changed ownership a few years ago, but the chefs are the same. My last time here was about 3 years ago and I ordered the same thing. So I can confirm ... the vegetarian egg fu young is prepared exactly the same and I would recommend it. NOTE: Take out and delivery only. No more dining in. Vegetarian Egg Foo Young / Lunch ($11.45, grade A) - I like how they prepare this dish. Almost like little dumplings. Allows for more crunchy outter edges. Egg roll (Grade C) The lunch special comes with a vegetarian egg roll. The egg roll tastes like the frozen ones from Costco. I eat the ones from Costco occasionally, but not preferred when I eat out. Egg Fried Rice (Grade B) The lunch special comes with this as well. It's a small scoop of fried rice. I liked the flavor, but wish the portion was larger. I ran out of rice before I ran out of meal. Bottom line - I do recommend the vegetarian egg foo young. I usually order the full dish and not the lunch special so that's probably a better way to eat this. If you really like texture, ask for the sauce on the side.

Used to be my favorite when owned by Paul and Jennifer. Now just OK. Also no dine in service. Very disappointed.

Jenn is the greatest! This is the best place for family style food. Orange chicken is my go to.

We love sesame inn! It's unfortunate you can't eat in the restaurant but the take out is always so fast and efficient. The food is consistent as well as delicious.

Worst Chinese food of my life. Kung pao chicken was inedible. No indoor seating. Stay away.

I live in Camarillo, and this is my favorite "local" Chinese restaurant. It's worth the drive over the grade! I prefer the food here over any of the Chinese places in Camarillo. Everything we've tried has tasted exactly the way we wanted it to. I estimate we've ordered from here 10 times so far. No mistakes. We love it.
