I recently visited Melting Pot in Thousand Oaks with my 2 daughters 5 and 7 it was our first time, and I was extremely disappointed. Despite the restaurant being empty during business hours, we were told we could not be seated without a reservation. This was frustrating, as we had planned to drop in for a casual meal. Am sure this one is excellent from the reviews. The one in Wilmington,NC is terrible. The meat they gave us was raw and you were expected to cook it in boiling vegetable oil before dripping it in fondue, bread was hard and stale. Give it a -10. The manager on duty made no attempt to correct the situation after we pointed it out…never again.
