It was my first time visiting this Zankou location (I’m usually a fan of their food), but this branch was new to me—and unfortunately, so was the taste. The shish and lule kabobs had a very leathery texture and lacked flavor. All four of us felt the same, and it wasn’t comparable to the other Zankou branches we’ve had recently.

Food is terrible. Tomatoes are old. Tri tip had some weird white stuff on it that I've never seen at any other Zanku. Not consistent with other restaurants I've eaten at and enjoy.

The chicken here is great. If you were visiting the original Hollywood location in the late 1980s, the taste of their rotisserie chicken remains the same. Always fresh and juicy. Never dry. Served with toum, pita bread, pickled turnips, and chili.
I ask for it well done. They do also have shawerma (tri tip and chicken), chicken and beef kebabs. The roast rotisserie chicken is their signature menu item.

Very bad experience, not recommended !
Very low quality of chicken , it was sooo hard and still raw ,the service was the worst for America standards .now i understand why the restaurant had a low rating .
If you are planning to go to this restaurant in order to eat some halal food , well i advise you to switch to vegetarian than going there .

Delivery review
Definitely not the most authentic middle eastern food by any means. Plain white rice, interesting tasting falafel. The sauces are tiny. The cabbage salad that cost $5 was so tiny and not good. Won’t be back

Food is amazing, they make the best tabbouleh and the chicken kabobo is delicious

This was very disappointing. The portion has shrunk by 50% . The protein portion used to fill the whole side but today it was 1/2 and the other half of that side was few cucumber pieces in juice . The other half had smear of yogurt side and eggplant side .

Used to frequent a few of these in the LA area back in the day. This one is very comparable. The chicken shawarma is really good, along with the sauces. Not sure why all the bad reviews. I still love this place!

The food was fresh but could do better. Cleanliness needs improvement.
Great chicken with wonderful sides.
The food was very bland. It was edible but not memorable at all. You can tell by looking at it that it is going to be very underwhelming. I had a shawarma wrap. The pita was too tough, the vegetables were flavorless and scant, and the chicken was under seasoned. My wife got a bowl of some sort and was equally unimpressed.
This zankou location is really bad, always smells, products don't seem to be fresh, chicken bought today was tasteless.
