The food was fresh but could do better. Cleanliness needs improvement.
Great chicken with wonderful sides.
The food was very bland. It was edible but not memorable at all. You can tell by looking at it that it is going to be very underwhelming. I had a shawarma wrap. The pita was too tough, the vegetables were flavorless and scant, and the chicken was under seasoned. My wife got a bowl of some sort and was equally unimpressed.
This zankou location is really bad, always smells, products don't seem to be fresh, chicken bought today was tasteless.
Loved the food! Had the Falafel Wrap and it was so damn good. We even got some for home
The harissa sauce was the best for me
Definitely recommend!!
Positives: food is delicious. Con’s: after tax it’s over $20 an entree just for lunch. It’s 25+ mins after placing an order
Usually their shawarma sandwiches are great. Unfortunately, this time aroud the chicken shawarma sandwich fell apart due to stale bread.
Delicious, week prepared and priced appropriately. Clean dining room.
Only complaint: too cold inside. Food is Great.
First timer. Chicken was so dry and seasoned less than expected. Very disappointed.

I prefer Zankou over Chick-fil-A any day.
I love zanku chicken I've only been to the one in burbank and when I saw that the one in thousand oaks was open I had to take my mom there and it was still as good as I remember
This is the worst shawarma ever .. the bread was old and in pieces.. the sandwich was messed up.
And why there are employees touching the food while not wearing gloves? This is gross..
It was sunday afternoon
Stopped by for a quick meal, delighted at the rapid preparation and amazing flavor. My husband and I both got the chicken tarna wrap, after the kind cashier warned us kabob would take 15 minutes. Both wraps were warm, the chicken flavorful and moist, tomatoes and extra garlic sauce fresh. A delightful road trip stop that fed my Zankou nostalgia!
My favorite local food place. Very friendly and polite staff, very honest prices, and amazing food.
