I’ve had sushi there thrice at dinner time on different days. It’s mid/okay sushi. Service is slow to poor at tables. If you’re single, the hostess will push you to the tightly packed sushi bar, and will not seat you at an available small table. Make a reservation. Not single-diner friendly. Price is about right for the area, but it doesn’t blow my kilt up. I’ve had much better sushi at certain establishments along Ventura Blvd. two miles away.

Out of this world food and presentation. The service is excellent - every interaction from the hostess to the gentleman who cleared our table was treated us incredibly fancy. Keep up the great work!

Great service and top-notch sushi & rolls! So many unique flavors to choose from. You won’t find anything quite like it anywhere else.
Had an amazing experience at this place. My friends, brother and myself are traveling through town and we were looking for a place to eat and came across Kabosu.
Mint and the whole staff were extremely friendly and took care of all of us.
Food was very delicious. From the soup, salads, appetizers and rolls that Mint recommend.
Next time we travel through, we will be back.

Great sushi, always consistent. Been around for over a decade. Need reservations, always crowded. One of our go to spots when our first choice isn’t available.

Delicious food, and the restaurant is always packed. You’ll have a better chance to get seats at the bar. Great sushi, hot pots are incredible, but rolls are on the mediocre side. Service is a bit slow but we didn’t wait too long. Will definitely come back.

Worst sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to. My wife and I were seated at 7.50pm and ordered at 7.55pm ( we were starving!). We sat there watching others who were seated AFTER us get their food and we had nothing! And BTW- sushi comes out one item at a time and not all at once. After 35 minutes we asked what the delay was and our server said that our food hasn’t even begun to be prepared yet. We asked if they could see what the delay was and she came back without any explanation or sympathy or offer to at least give us SOMETHING to eat. Needless to say after 45 minutes we said we’re leaving and they had the AUDACITY to give me a bill for our little sake bottle we had ordered and the edamame! First and LAST time we will ever go there! Wait times are ridiculous !

I think the most important ingredient for sushi is the quality of the fish then the master. For delicious and fast sushi try Kabosu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's difficult to make up for extremely slow service and below average ambiance with delicious food especially if the food is very pricey.
