BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

I would never come to BJs again.
Food was wack n expensive like I thought servers don’t care. I figured it was like this same typa TGIF environment n then their management is very poor.
Servers are slow and very careless. Too much people here just an overall bad location. Dont waste your money or time here. This is one of those one and done things lol. Never again

I wasn't going to write this review because people are usually more likely to complain than compliment, but after not receiving a refund for a gift card to a place I do not plan on going back to, especially after the experience we had, celebrating my brothers bday Sunday June 8th.
1. I purchased the gift card for the bday dinner we were celebrating my brother with, and didn't come in time.
Order your gift cards way ahead of time as they are not sent instantly. (I received mine after I got home that night & had already paid)
2. The 1st cloth napkin I opened was dusted with crumbs or something and there was a hair on it. I threw it aside. The next one I opened was also dusted with stuff.
3. The 1st server must've been stressed out or at the end of her shift. She was not very friendly/engaging, didn't tell us her name, she asked if we needed anything else, and I asked if she was ready to take our order & she said no. Wtf?
Thankfully she handed us over to another server who was next to amazing. If it wasn't for him, the pazooki & my family, the whole experience would've been awful.
4. The food was edible, but not flavorful. I had the brewhouse bowl. Idk if it was the quinoa or rice that wadn't completely cooked. Everyone at our table had food leftover (which is rare for our family lol) & none of us wanted to
take any home (which is also rare when it's good).
5. My dish had hard dry food on the bottom of it, and my daughters bowl was dirty on top.
6. The womens restroom was a wreck, the 3rd toilet was flooded, there was t.p. all over the floor, including a roll, and the trash was full.
7. No manager came around to ask how everything was, otherwise I would've surely shared my experience.
8. We were planning to leave a cash tip, and had split the bill. If you're not careful when paying the bill, gratuity is automaric. Dominic was so good though, we also left the cash tip.
9. Bj's will not refund your gift card. Idk why my brother chose this place, prob trendy, but I will defintely not be going back.
I told my dad about the experience & he said Torrance is no good, you gotta go to Cerritos or Lakewood? nstead. I'll prob gift the gift card I'm now stuck with & encourage the receiver not to go to BJ's in Torrance

Our server Frederick was an absolute gentleman !! Despite waiting for over an hour for our food, Frederick communicated with us the entire time about the situation. 10/10 service from him. Truly appreciated his patience and how he handled the situation. Hope to see him again next time !

Omg our server Elliot tonight 6/ 6/25 was nothing less than amazing!!! He took care of us he even broke a sweat we always come to this location and it never fails us but tonight took the cake he did everything sufficient and fast for us made sure our order was right and we were satisfied the whole night !! Good job Elliot never let your light dim for no one !! Give this guy a raise :)

Elias is the best

Our server, Monica, was very nice and the restaurant was really clean and comfortable. The food however was very hit or miss. Brussel sprouts, nachos and strawberry pizookie all tasted good, but the entrees didn't. The steak was well done instead of rare and the jambalya was extremely dry and over seasoned. Would come back for the service, definitely not the food.

Elliot!!! Omg, this man wasn’t just a regular waiter/server he literally went above and beyond for us and all of our kids. And we were a rowdy group of three soccer families in between two soccer games on a triple header Saturday. Still he brought them all smiles because he didn’t just pass out the kids’ menus but gave them little kits with fruits and goldfish; even made the older kids feel special because he was so attentive to their every need throughout! A breath of fresh air to see hospitality on such a high level. Like we were all at a Michelin star restaurant with how he took care of us. Made our day. Thank you so much, Elliot!

Sparkle was an Extraordinary Waitress!

The server was kind and doing her best, but even with a reservation, it took them 25 minutes to seat us and we were there for almost 2 hours. The service was incredibly slow. It ruined our experience and we typically love BJs. It was so slow I would hesitate to go back. The manager stayed and socialized at one table. He should have been walking around, apologizing to all of us for the extremely slow service They also took their 3 dip appetizer off the menu which is disappointing. They did make it for us however when we asked. 

Poor Service not very attentive. Not friendly and should have asked how we were doing also took too long to bring food. Dirty Ketchup bottle.

beware 😳 server julissa does NOT like it when you ask for extra sour cream. (she had atittude from the beginning.) don’t come here because all the girls look miserable and have mad attitude. go to a different location.

Overall everything was ok. I'm just older now and the food was not that good . Service was good though it's more for the younger crowd. Also this App was excellent

Our waiter DJ was very friendly and made our dining experience very pleasant. Everyone enjoyed their food, drinks and appetizers.

I came to celebrate a birthday and I must say Mia the bartender can make a mean hurricane martini. Kudos to Mia. I haven't one that tastes that good since my last visit to NOLO. Rogelio was our server. The blackened salmon Cesar salad was delicious and perfect portion of serving. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean but door to the storage room in the women's bathroom was open and if a guest is not paying attention, she could get serious hurt. I truly enjoyed the music while . The birthday girl enjoyed her birthday Pizookie. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check the knives, forks and plates. Each of us had to ask for clean silverware and plates. It's sad that someone rolled the dirty silverware into cloth napkins.

We chose to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday at BJs and no one sang to her which was a bummer. Quality of food has declined over the years. We also wanted to order happy hour drinks at the bar while waiting for our table but the bartender took a long time to close someone else's tab (that could have waited) so we were told we couldn't order happy hour since “the computers automatically changed to regular pricing”. Wasn't super thrilled about this experience.
