Mugimaru + Toritetsu Reviews
Love this place!! Favorite restaurant in the Mitsuwa food court. The prices are amazing, especially for the kake udon, it's only $5.95 even after the recent small price increase. Their weekday lunch special is also such great value, around $10 for a kake udon + 3 tempura/yakitori. The service is quick, and the employees there are so polite and kind. Great place all around. It can be a bit difficult to find parking sometimes though, especially on weekends.
While shopping, we got really hungry and stumbled upon this amazing spot!
We ordered the chicken katsu curry with rice 🍛 and the shrimp & squid tempura 🦑 🍤 - everything was absolutely delicious! 🥰
I can't wait to come back and try their udon 🍜 The portions looked huge and are definitely big enough to share between two people!
The food is delicious, the service is great, and the food is extremely affordable. I get the Kake Udon (Regular) which is ~$6, and more than enough on its own, but you can add a mini side for ~$4. I stop here on every trip to the Del Amo Mall.

Mugimaru + Toritetsu offers a variety of udon, yakitori, and karage bowls. Customers enjoy dipping yakitori items like fish, shrimp, or egg in the udon broth. The Spicy Tonkotsu and TanTan udon are popular choices, with the TanTan broth standing out for its thickness and peanut flavor. The staff is friendly, and the curry beef udon is a favorite among guests, including kids who love the special kids udon combo. The restaurant can get busy, especially during lunch rush, but the food is worth the wait. It is located in Mitsuwa, a busy mall with many food options, making it sometimes hard to find a table. The place is large and open, making it kid-friendly and casual. Customers say the udon is thick, chewy, and flavorful, with the broth sometimes being spicy and slightly umami. The tempura is warm and crispy, adding to the meal. Overall, it is a popular spot for quick, delicious udon and yakitori that often surpasses other food court options.
