I went with a few co workers to celebrate a birthday. We were greeted and everything was going well until our server came to the table. According to the receipt his name was Fredrick. He was rude and not welcoming at all. He came to the table a few minutes after we arrived and we had already looked at the menu and knew what we wanted.We stated we were ready and he said I am not taking your order I am doing drinks first . We mentioned we were on our lunch so were limited on time but he did not care and proceeded to be rude. Food was great but Frederick if you don't like your job please find another one because you clearly lack customer service and just ruined everyone's mood at our table. Do better. It was a big group of us who went and he was mean and rude to all of us equally. We just wanted to have a good lunch which is why we didn’t complain to the manager but we should have. Every other worker was nice we wished we had our previous servers .
Service was okay, food came out quickly. Place is clean, seems like a good place for birthdays or group event. My husband said his steak didn't really need the A1 sauce and medium rare was cooked correctly. I had a veggie patty with crispy jalapeños. It was really good, bread was a little dry. The jalapeños weren't greasy either. The oreo pizzookie was really good, a liitle heavy on cream, but worth it.Vegetarian options: Hamburger menu has veggie patty option

I rarely give reviews for restaurants. However, every time I come into BJ’s in Torrance at the Del Amo Mall I am welcomed so warmly, usually by Janae, the hostess, with a smile and kind words. The General Manager, Scott, makes his rounds to visit the tables and that just shows he really cares about his customer’s experiences. My most recent servers were Jaylene and Jackie. Both were attentive and cheerful. The lunch specials are super affordable. I came for my birthday and also got my free cinnamon roll pizookie (as a rewards member)! Delish!!!Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat pork and was pleasantly surprised that the clam chowder did not have bacon in it. It made my day to be able to eat clam chowder on a rainy day.

Ms. Sparkle was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Customer service was BEYOND any service I’ve ever received! Her recommendations and drink pairing on top of being so down to earth. I love this woman’s personality that she brings ! I will be back Fridays and Saturdays during the day time from now on! And most definitely deserved that tip ! She needs a raise ASAP!!!!!!

My husband and I went to BJ's yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. We've been to BJ's at this location many times, but yesterday's dining experience was especially nice due to our lovely server, Sparkle. She was so friendly, courteous, and attentive. She made our time there so enjoyable. My hubby ordered the shrimp tacos, and I ordered fish and chips. Both were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and just very nice!Wheelchair accessibility: I had no problems at all using my wheelchair in the restaurant. The ladies' restroom door was a bit heavy opening it, but it was manageable.

We love coming to BJ's. The Beer Club has been one of the greatest programs around. We often visit local breweries and BJ's beers rank up there with our favorites. It motivates us to come in even more often that we normally would. I can't say enough about our favorite server, Elias. He's super friendly, mindful, nice, happy, conscientious, hardworking, caring, etc... It makes our visit perfect when he is working. I feel like he is someone I would hang out with at a family bbq. One of my favorites is the tri-tip sliders. I consider myself a French fries snob and BJ's does them right. Having the sliders and fries is a great meal. We come often at lunch time, the lunch specials are excellent. The piadina or pizza, salad combo are our other favorites. The new cinnamon roll pizookie it incredible! We don't eat them too often but pizookies are the only dessert I consider when I go out. I would say that BJ's is the only restaurant we visit and it has become a place that when our kids & grandkids go out to a meal together, only consider BJ's.

Disgusting experience. Ordered a mini special and it was soggy and disgusting. Couldn't even finish 4 small slices it was so soggy and smelled bad. Do not eat this trash. It will make you sick. What a dump this place is.

Dissapointing greeting at desk, after trying a couple of tables in restaurant choose the bar to eat in more comfortable seats. Our waitress Mia was delightful, our salads were great

Picked up a to- go order and it was complete chaos inside. No one was at the to-go desk, and when someone that was waiting before me asked the general manager if his order was ready, the general manager completely lost his composure, began yelling at him, and using profanity. I've never seen someone act so unprofessional and aggressive for asking a simple question. Definitely will not be returning. The management here is organized and unprofessional, and you can tell the second you walk into the restaurant.
