“Visited after an afternoon on the beach with our 2 year old. The kids area had a variety of toys to play with and crayons/markers/chalk to color with. Kiddo was happy to play while we enjoyed our drinks. The pizza menu looked appealing and it was nice to see kid friendly options available (Dino nuggets, tater tots) although the nuggets seemed expensive. Everything was very clean, the building was spacious with cozy furniture. Parking was easy right out front, and we had no problem bringing a stroller in. We had a very nice visit and would definitely return again!“

“This place is awesome the food tasted amazing even my grandkids loved the food my oldest grandson ate a whole large margarita pizza. The service was amazing when my grandson asked for more lemonade to the waiter. The waiter was so kind. We don’t care if prices are high for food but the food the drinks and the restaurant was worth it.“

“Loved our first visit to Project Barley! The atmosphere was laid-back, friendly, and full of good vibes—the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. Huge shoutout to Zha for making us feel so welcomed and taken care of. It was our first time, but it’s definitely not our last. The beer selection? Top notch. Last night's (7/30/25) Showcase lineup was out of this world. Very exciting mix of original work by talented musicians. This night had a number of repeat appearances from the last 15 months of the program along with first-time appearances. It just keeps getting better!
Always a nice and friendly crowd responsive to and supportive of the performers.
Craft beer from Hermosa Brewing Company and Project Barley on tap. Mixed and canned drinks. Opens at 7 PM, so eat dinner first.
Can bring in food (clean up after yourself if & when you do). No wait staff: order drinks at the bar.

“Such a Phenomenal Spot!! The atmosphere is amazing; the whole concept with the beer/wine is brilliant and well-executed. The food is delicious and has a wide variety of choices on the menu (perfect for everyone). Very reasonable pricing (very inexpensive especially for the quality). Literally everything you could want or think of is here -- there's even board/card games. Events are hosted! Wish it was closer to me because we would come every weekend! 10/10 RECOMMEND!“

“Great service and welcoming environment. ample parking and seating both indoors and out. amazing selection of both beers and ciders on tap. my only major issue is the removal of the tip system to a forced service charge (mandatory tip) system of 18%. we ordered a single flight and a pint at the bar ourselves, no table service or any real interaction yet a tip was fourced upon us on the bill.“
