I don't like giving poor ratings but if you like rolled-up ice cream in a cup with a variety of interesting flavor choices that sometimes can take a few minutes to whip up the decor, then this is the place when you would want to spice up your taste buds and don't mind the wait on a lazy hang out day! I take my kids there at times when perhaps any of our other fave ice cream parlors aren't opened or too far of a drive to get to.
We stumbled upon Carrissa's after leaving another ice cream shop that had 30 people in line. We were pleasantly surprised with our new ice cream shop. The staff was super friendly, efficient and very informative. Oh... the ice cream was great, tasted like home made. Yum!
I've driven past this place forever but never went in. I finally did and I'm so glad. They've since changed their name to Carissa's Creamery I think but the menu remains mostly the same. The girl working was super friendly and helped us pick fun combinations, and offered to make something custom and weird if we wanted. We got rolled ice cream to eat there and a cookie sandwich to go, and she put the cookie sandwich in a special container with a lid and kept...
