One of my favorite tea brands, now that they're pulling out of the US market and going online only, I'm really going to miss this place. I loved getting a matcha drink as I bought loose leaf teas to brew at home. So much variety. You know they're serious about tea when their sample section is at the top of the container, sealed away from the rest. Helps keep the tea fresh for the consumer. I hope once the economy is back in stable condition (and at this rate who knows when that'll be), they'll make a trip back to the US.

The shop is a bit small and so are their selection. But their tea is way way better than teavana or any other tea shop before it. The quality is really amazing. I had yo add sugar in teavana tea to make the fruity tea drinkable but at David's tea, no sugar needed. It's own original flavor is more than enough to make it taste great. My favorite are the spirulina tea and the reishi recharge. I'm probably going to end up trying every white tea here because they really are the best.

Walked in this morning at 9:56 because we were walking through the mall and the door was open. We were not aware of the hours as they were not visible from the outside as far as I could see. I didnt see anyone at the counter but was looking at their retail selection thinking someone would come out.... and when she did. This young woman was so rude to us saying how they werent open and we apologized and she shooed us out with her hand and this appalling attitude. I was so confused. I would have really liked to come back durring business hours (four minutes later) and try their products but not while she is working. I have never recieved such terrible and unprofessional customer service in the first 2 minutes of entering a business. I would have gotten her name but just needed to get away asap.

I am a huge David's Tea fan. The location at Del Amo mall is fantastic. I drop in every time I'm shopping at the mall and order a drink. The folks at the counter are always willing to help and offer suggestions. Katelyn helped me out yesterday and gave me some tips to get the most out of my tea.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and this place was packed! They definitely need more employees when they have their sale days. However, the staff was very nice when it was my turn and they were pretty helpful. It's a very cute store and you can even make your own tea box with different tea packages. Very fun fo be able to try almost all the flavors. I was able to get 20 tea bags for $10! I also liked that you can order a hot or iced tea to go and it's pretty cheap. No $5 drink like at Starbucks. Definitely recommend their blood orange.

Been really disappointed with the service here lately. I went in yesterday to purchase one of their newer mugs, but decided to browse around the store as they were having a sale. I decided on getting some loose leaf of Santa's Secret and I asked the girl there (who was asian) about the price and she herself said it was 30% off. I went on to purchasing 2oz of the tea along with the mug I came for. Upon receiving the printed receipt (she never offered an emailed version), I noticed that the tea hasn't been marked down, but I had assumed the girl knew what she was doing and thought maybe the price marked on the receipt is the discounted price. The girl made me feel unwanted in the store the entire time, not even offering her assistance while I was browsing the store, so I left without questioning her. The store was EMPTY btw and the girl was on her phone. The next day I returned to purchase more of the Santa's Secret tea and this time, another girl (who was also on her phone and seemed annoyed that I had come in) that was working there properly discounted my tea. That was when I realized that the girl who was working yesterday had forgot to give my discount... I told the girl that was helping me today about it, and she told me I had to bring the tea I purchased yesterday back in...? I had already drank a portion of that tea by then and I really don't understand why I had to bring it back in when all I wanted was reimbursement for the forgotten discount. It was stated right on my receipt, which I unfortunately lost. Granted it was only a $3 loss for me anyway, just the whole experience with employees making you feel like you are the ones bothering them left such a bad taste in my mouth. It's such a shame because the service here use to be amazing, and now it's turned into this. It's a good thing I don't really shop here anymore.

Horrible service. Stay away. I have been a regular customer for years and enjoy the tea. But the service is spotty to say the least. Today, I had to wait about 10 minutes while the customer prior to me was served. There was a sample pitcher of tea on the counter but no paper mini-cups. I asked if I could have an empty mini cup while waiting for service, and was told I would have to wait until the salesperson was done with her transaction. I waited until the salesperson was ready for me. I got my little sample of cold tea, then ordered my first bag of tea. Next, while attempting to order a second bag, the salesperson walked away and served another customer and rang up their transaction, leaving me standing there waiting another 5 minutes. When she came back, i told her what I thought of the service and left the store with no tea. If you like to be treated like garbage and made to feel your patronage is unnecessary to the establishment, this is your store. If you want to be treated kindly and fairly, and especially if you value your time, I suggest you stay away from Davids' Tea in Del Amo.
