I've been drink Yerba mate for a couple of years now so I wanted to expand into Japanese tea. I didn't know anything about it or what I needed and Den came through, helped me out, and set me up with everything I needed. Even made me a cup of yuzu tea to try it out and it was delicious! Den's tea has great quality Japanese teas and has the best prices of most online retailers. I mainly drink sencha, and every one that I've tried from them has been excellent. The tea is always fresh, and it comes in resealable packaging so you can keep it as fresh as possible once you open it. Their customer service is top notch- they always answer all of my questions about tea, orders, etc. Also they have a warehouse in the U.S. so shipping is generally quicker and cheaper than other retailers.

I really can't believe this place hasn't exploded in popularity. Their Hojicha is incredibly delicious, aromatic, and reminds me of a fresh batch of roasted chestnuts. It's perfect after dinner for its lower caffeine content, just don't brew it more than twice. I use the matcha Chiyo-no-Shiro as my daily and use their plastic matcha shakers (they're amazing) to pre-measure and prepare them at work. You can also find their sencha at the local Nijiya - 180 degrees is my preferred brewing temperature. Bottom Line: They let you order online and pickup from their warehouse in Torrance! This place is amazing!
