I had the same experience as others listed here. I tried calling... number didn't work. Found another another number, called... just continued to ring. I looked up the hours- drove there. Twice... not once... hours in the door says they were open; they were closed. Twice! I wanted to give this place a try. Cannot do that with wrong numbers and wrong hours posted. Not a great way to stay in business.

Sorry to see you guys close permanently. I really enjoyed your breakfast burritos and the environment. I hope the best for you and your employees.

I was in Torrance doing some work and just happen to find this Gem of a local favorite. The food was so good. I had the chicken tenders with fries and a grill cheese sandwich with a oreo shake. It all was outstanding. I cannot wait to visit again. The cherry on top was the customer service was so good. I wish I could give a 10 star rating. I highly recommend this local eatery.

We finally had a chance to check out Eat Fantastic for breakfast burritos to go and they were fantastic! We ordered the fantastic burrito and the original burrito which came with free coffee. The original had egg, sausage, potatoes, cheese and was very satisfying. The fantastic was much bigger with additional meats and an extra grilled cheese tortilla wrapped around. I would definitely order the original burrito again and again and I'll order the fantastic when I want to indulge.

Recently opened before the shutdowns happened, I hope they survive the downtime. A very simple menu of burgers, chicken tenders and breakfast plates. This fits in the casual fast category. You'll order and have a seat. The burgers are full and tasty. The chicken tenders are sometimes just right and other times too dry. The lunch box special is a good deal with burger, fries and two tenders. The menu board is simple, clean and uncluttered (you've been to places where the menu is like reading a novel with an endless list of options). It's comfortable inside and they have a large outdoor patio area. Heaters out there for when it's chilly. Great customer service and they keep the place nice and clean. The location is kind of tucked away in the corner and sits lower than the street sidewalk level so it could be missed by many passing by.

[Review #527] 2020 Yelp 100 Challenge (31/100) This location used to be The Counter, then a seafood restaurant (can't remember the name), & now Fantastic. I came here about 3 weeks ago before social distancing was implemented. I was low on groceries & wanted a breakfast burrito. After dropping off the LO at daycare, I tried calling (310) 717-6388 to place my order, & they took awhile before picking up; instead of taking my order, she directed me to another number for take-out. Huh? I have you on the line, why don't you just take my order? Makes no sense. In any event, I tried the other number: (310) 316-0400 & I couldn't get through, which was even more ridiculous. (¬_¬) Aaaugh... In any event, I was a couple minutes away & decided to go in & just wait for the order... so much for saving time by ordering ahead. Upon arrival, the cashier was chatting away with either a customer or vendor before acknowledging me to take my order. I ordered 2 ORIGINAL BREAKFAST BURRITOS (hash browns, shredded cheese, salsa), one with BACON & one with SAUSAGE; I had a buy one get one free coupon from my local mailer, which is how I found out about Fantastic. There's apparently a free cup of coffee with my order but I said I don't drink coffee, & no option was given. After paying, I then inquired why there are 2 different phone numbers & what's the purpose of the Yelp listed number: (310) 717-6388; her response: "It's for something else" (without additional explanation). Hmmm... customer complaints line since orders cannot be taken? If 310) 316-0400 is the order line, how come I couldn't get through? Her response: "Oh, we're having phone issues." I inquired. "Then why didn't you take my phone order on the Yelp listed number when I was able to get through?" No response. The order came fairly quickly since I was the only customer. There was some weight to the burritos so I felt I got my money's worth. The burritos were still warm when I got home; I saved the sausage one for lunch. It was a sizable burrito with a generous amount of filling & decent portion of bacon. The salsa lacked chili heat, hashbrowns were cooked through without the crunchiness that's typical of a side order of hashbrowns, & scrambled eggs was on the bland side but the bacon added the necessary sodium. The sausage burrito was the same; the sausage added the flavor that was missing from the other filling ingredients. The salsa is considered the condiment... so maybe it should be revamped, or offer 2 heat levels... mild & spicy. It was a satisfying burrito in terms of hunger, but just ok taste-wise; C&C's just down the street makes a more craveable burrito. Maybe due to the spicy salsa? The dining room is well-lit & spacious with a soda fountain facing the entrance; outdoor patio seating is also available for some fresh air. There's a decent amount of parking, albeit on the tighter side when parked next to a SUV. Some menu items are a definite bang for your buck whereas other items are on the competitive side. I haven't been back since mid-March 2020 so I'm assuming the take-out line: (310) 316-0400 should be fixed by now. If not, I hope they at least accept phone orders on the Yelp listed number. :-| Otherwise, you're going to have to place your order at the restaurant, which also defeats the social distance purpose to keep everyone safe. =( Docking stars (1 each) for the abhorrent/flippant phone & customer service, & another for the ok burritos. On the plus side, according to Yelp's posted hours, they're supposedly open 24/7 (though I haven't verified this) so if you're in need of a food run at wee hours of the night/morning, this is the place to go. Tip: Call (310) 316-0400 for take-out orders. Recommended: Original Breakfast Burrito.

Review based on takeout, not dine in. Support your local eateries during this quarantine. Heard they had just opened when the quarantine started. I ordered the pastrami, the kid had the burger and DH ordered a breakfast burrito. The burrito was huge and definitely enough for two. The kid loved the burger. The psstrami sammie was ok. It seemed a little tough. I think I'll try the burger next time.

To order food, the phone number posted on the door was (310) 316-0400 I've tried to update yelp but has yet to appear so posting as a comment. Updated in google and appears there now We've enjoyed various items but their onion rings which were hand battered and delicious, appeared to have been replaced with conventional frozen onion rings, the last time we tried them It would be fantastic if they went back to the original onion rings

Not sure if I paid for the bag or I pay for the zucchini fries if I'm paying almost $5 would expect a more than just a few fries.. disappointing

A very good breakfast burrito. Lots of meat. Actually i had to make two meals of it. Totally worth the $11 bucks (i did add avocado so that adds $1.50) but so worth it. Don't forget to ask for extra salsa. The cup servings are tiny. But they'll give you more. Free coffee if you dine in!! Great place. Friendly and fast staff. Totally excited to go and try a burger or some non breakfast fare! ENJOY!!!

***THIS IS FAST FOOD.*** Nothing here appears to be freshly made. I came with the wrong impression. I thought this was a real restaurant. I liked the Counter and saw this new place had breakfast and burgers so I brought my sister and we tried it today. I ordered the pancake combo. The pancake is odd. It's not buttermilk and is extremely flat. The flavor was weird too, not like any pancake I've ever tasted. I smelled cinnamon but didn't taste it. Like I said, just weird. I am a pancake lover and I only took two bites of this one. Bacon was alright but thin. Eggs were nothing special. My hash browns were delivered upside down but they were well seasoned and were the best thing on the plate. My sister ordered the waffle. She said it was chewy and thin as paper. She didn't eat it and waffles are her go to breakfast food. The prices were pretty reasonable so we pushed breakfast aside and ordered a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries since they were so well reviewed. We both enjoyed the burger we split. The fries were good enough. However, the more I ate them the more I tasted a flavor from my childhood, Chef Boyardee. I'm still burping up that flavor two hours later.

Here at Eat Fantastic; they say that "the name says it all" and indeed it does! I had a fantastic time at this new Fantastic Cafe. They just opened this December and they currently have some grand opening specials going on. I came for breakfast and they were offering free coffee. Being a coffee lover; this was a nice perk! I chose to get their Original Burrito which has eggs, choice of meats, hash browns, shredded cheese and salsa. For $7; this was a great deal! The burrito was huge and it was perfect for sharing with my mom. Overall very tasty and nice breakfast burrito. I enjoyed my burrito so much that I stopped by again later to get a to-go order of their zucchini sticks. These were $4.95 and just like the burrito; fantastic. The zucchini sticks were made fresh and I found that the breading had good flavor. Both visits; the service was very good. The servers were friendly and always checked if there was anything else I needed. I'm looking forward to visiting again. I've got my eye on their poutine fries and their chicken and waffles. The name indeed says it all. Fantastic!
