My friend wanted ice cream for his snack later on and suggested Foster's. I didn't even know this product still existed. What a nice blast from the past. It transported me back to my childhood and going for a pineapple malt with my folks. It was a nice visit.
I hope this establishment stays forever. You can tell when you walk up to this location that it has probably been around since the 80s if not way before that. It looks old and can use a face lift but it hope they don't modernize it ever. I see it like a piece of old Torrance or the simpler days back in the 80s and 90s. Their ice cream is very good too. Fosters Freeze is a local tradition. Lots of menu choices. Their classic soft serve is delicious. Impressive how quickly 1 or 2 ladies make the orders when there’s a line. English isn’t their first language so some reviewers need to be nice and more culturally aware. Bring cash—no cards accepted.
