This place is a gem. The food's great, best soba in socal. I usually get the cold tanuki in extra large. The noodles are always al dente. Price is good although has been increasing, I'm assuming from inflation but well worth. Always a treat for me when I'm in the area.

Who recommended this place for soba and met a friend for lunch here, it was absolutely incredible. Polite service, fantastic food, nice ambience, and good price. What more could you ask for?

Ordered cold yamakake soba with tendon combo. Food came out pretty quickly. Soba koshi was alright but the flavor was really lacking. Wish I had more tsuyu. Surprisingly their tempura bowl was very good. If I ordered the tendon alone I would have rated this place much better.

Considering most other customers are Japanese, I was expecting more from this place.
