Ise-Shima is a hidden gem in Torrance! It’s an authentic Japanese restaurant that offers amazing quality food. I had their seasonal lunch, which was beautifully presented and delicious. Located on the first floor of the Miyako Inn Hybrid Hotel, it has a relaxed and elegant atmosphere with attentive service. There’s plenty of free parking, and it’s definitely a must-visit spot whenever I’m in Torrance.

I ordered the chirashi sushi, and it was fresh, beautifully presented, and really good. Great spot for anyone looking for a quality Japanese dining experience!

If you’ve been on a Japanese business class flight and love the food, then this is the spot to come to. The bento style is similar and good also. The quality of the food here is also really good and enjoyable. The decor in this restaurant is super nice. Great for a dinner date if you know what I mean.

Upscale Japanese restaurant that serves delicious sushi of very high quality and freshness. If your not a fan of sushi, then the beef and chicken dishes are outstanding also. More expensive than other places but it is worth the expense once in a while to treat yourself to a great meal.
I lived in Tokyo for many years and this restaurant is authentic on several levels. The staff were all Japanese and spoke fluent Japanese and English. They embodied the unmistakable Japanese service ethic. The tables, booths, and their intricate, detailed wooden construction are typical of those found in nicer Tokyo establishments. The menu selections, flavor, and presentation were also spot on including the dessert. We went on a Saturday night and there was no wait to be seated. It’s a hotel restaurant so expect a pricey meal but there’s plenty of free parking. The miser in me grumbled some but had to concede it was well worth it.
Next time I will try out Miso Marinated Black Cod.Red miso - not my thing.Roasted salmon - a little too sour, not my thing.Mocha white chocolate cake - very good.
