The food was not bad, but the service felt quite rushed. While I was still eating and had about half of my tonkatsu left, the server already brought over the dessert menu. When I declined because I was too full, they immediately handed me the check — even though I was still finishing the last few bites of my meal. Great thick cut pork tonkatsu, very tender. Thin ones are also available. My first visit and was very pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. We were seated in a booth with very traditional Japanese layout (see photo). It really adds to the experience.

This place serves truly authentic Japanese tonkatsu. The breading is exactly like in Japan. The mille-feuille tonkatsu and the tenderloin taste just like eating in Japan. The mazemen noodles are spot-on, almost identical to what you’d get in Nagasaki. Mixing the leftover sauce with white rice is perfect. Corkage is $18. This is definitely a must-visit. Even the miso soup is full of care
