I came to this place for the first time. The sushi was sooo good I really enjoyed the food the only bad thing it has it that the wait times are super long I waited 2 hours to be seated with my family of 6. Its a small store so if you go have patience cause it might take a while to get a table but the food is a 10 so is the service.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is one of those restaurants where the experience is just as much a part of the meal as the food itself. Walking in, the first thing you notice is the conveyor belt setup, with plates of sushi continuously moving around the restaurant and tablets available for ordering specific items. The whole system feels interactive and fun, especially if you’re dining with friends or family. Between the moving sushi plates, digital ordering, and the little reward system for returning plates, it feels more like an activity than a typical sushi meal.
The sushi selection covers a wide range of options, from classic rolls and nigiri to specialty items that you can grab directly from the belt or order fresh. Favorites like bluefin tuna, hand rolls, and other seafood options are popular choices, and the quality is solid for a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The biggest appeal is being able to try a lot of different things without committing to a large order, making it easy to mix and match based on what you’re craving. Beyond sushi, they also have other menu items like takoyaki and small plates, though the sushi is definitely the main reason to visit.
The technology and presentation add a unique touch to the experience. Orders placed through the tablet arrive directly to your table, and some locations even have additional fun elements like automated deliveries. The plate system and rewards make the meal more engaging, especially for first-time visitors. It’s the kind of place where even younger diners or people who aren’t normally big sushi fans can enjoy the novelty of choosing items as they come by.
Service is generally efficient, though wait times can be one of the biggest considerations, especially during busy hours. The restaurant tends to attract a crowd because of its popularity and the unique conveyor belt concept, so planning ahead can help. Once seated, though, the experience moves quickly since the food is constantly circulating and easy to order.
Overall, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a great casual sushi spot that focuses on fun, convenience, and variety. It may not be the place you go for the most traditional high-end sushi experience, but it delivers a memorable meal with plenty of options and an atmosphere that makes eating sushi feel entertaining. It’s especially good for groups, families, or anyone looking for a more interactive dining experience.

Came in on a Friday evening it was nearly empty. I checked in and gave me estimate of 20 minutes. Mind you I seen two people part of 3 do the same thing sign in as no reservations and they got sitter first. My bf went in to ask and they said oh it’s at 45 minute wait when my time said 5:20-5:30. The ladies there especially are always made and miserable. Be fair. It’s just two people waiting to get seated.

my son really like this place if think he likes to pick up the food by himself. but it's getting busy too many people and waiting time is so long
I love coming here for sushi. Its always so delicious and its super fun to watch all the little videos you get for turning in plates. The rewards are also always so cute. You have to get lucky with the seating though if you want to take a bunch of stuff from the conveyer. But you can always just order it from the ipad! A great place to go anyway.

Be aware that if you’re a party of two, you may keep getting pushed back while larger parties are prioritized and seated first.
We waited for over an hour and a half, only to watch multiple parties who got their numbers after us get seated first. When we asked why, we were told those parties had accepted counter seating — but no one ever offered us that option.
From what we observed, it seemed like larger parties were simply being prioritized for tables while parties of two were either pushed aside or continuously delayed. Please just be honest about it instead of making excuses.
When we finally got inside, we checked the numbers and realized ours was 613 while parties in the 640s had already been seated. Clearly, many numbers in between were skipped over.
The whole experience felt extremely unfair and poorly handled, and the staff member’s explanation was completely unconvincing. Honestly, because of how unpleasant and frustrating this experience was, we will never be coming back. Such a disappointing place with terrible customer service.

tried it before in New York even though it’s a chain restaurant, it’s actually pretty good.

My granddaughter loves Kura Sushi Bar. She's 9 years old and has been coming here with her parents since she was a baby. The automated service and quick preparation of orders is marvelous. If you want good fresh sushi and want to be somewhat entertained while eating it's worth visiting Kura Revolving Sushi for a fun meal.
