Fantastic!! One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. I could tell it was authentic Oaxacan style because I speak Spanish and still had to look up some of the words on the menu. Everything was so flavorful. Generous portions. Helpful, friendly service. Would repeat.
If you’re looking for a go-to spot for Taco Tuesday, Madre Restaurant is it! They have an amazing all-day special with $5 tacos — everything from chicharrón to rajas con crema. But don’t expect just regular tacos… these are elevated tacos that taste like something your abuela would make back in Mexico — full of true, authentic flavor and super filling.

Had lunch with long time friends. It was Taco Tuesday, a regular thing here in Southern California, so some of our group had a couple of the $5 tacos. I had one of my favorites, mole, and it came in bowl form with rice, vegetables and chicken. It was a generous lunch serving and the mole was just the right amount of spicy. I recommend this restaurant and will visit again.
