Marsha was difficult to deal with from the beginning with her phone calls regarding her prices. She charged me $116.00 deposit on my amex with a 3.5% for fees. Then I called her to pay the balance, she said she would send me a link did not send the link. Then she calls and says there's $4.00 more on top of the 3.5%. I ask why? She states, I don't want to argue about a few dollars. Im going to refund you. I said please do. Mind you it's 5 days before my husband's 60th Birthday Party! You can't really speak to her because she's all over the place. She also said she had another delivery that day and wanted to drop the cake off earlier but then the cake might melt. I wouldn't trust her because she seems stressed taking care of her child while trying to work on her business. Doesn't really focus on the customer.
I would not recommend Marsha. These reviews could be from friends and family!

We ordered a cake for a very special occasion—my mom’s 90th birthday—and it absolutely exceeded all expectations. It was, without a doubt, one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. The flavor was rich, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. The texture was moist and light, and every bite melted in your mouth. Everyone at the party—without exception—commented on how incredible it was. People were asking where it came from.

Marsha created the most beautiful cake for my 40th birthday—and it tasted just as amazing as it looked! Bonus points to her for successfully delivering it *in one piece* all the way to the Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes. If you've been there recently, you know that road is no joke—super bumpy and uneven. Despite the challenge, everything arrived perfectly. Overall, she’s a 10/10!

This was the best custom cake experience I’ve ever had. I called Marsha and gave her some ideas and she ran with it. Blew my expectations away and then some. Not only was the cake gorgeous it was so moist and delicious. She took full ownership of everything from creating the cake to delivering and setting everything up. You can tell she takes pride in her work! Everyone at the party was amazed. I will be getting all my cakes from her moving forward.

At the very last minute I called and ordered a lemon cake and told her I didn't want it too lemony, like a lemon bar. She asked me his name and if I wanted anything on it. I told her I was hoping she could put a picture of a turn table since he was a DJ but I realized it was very late for that. Not only was I not too late but she came up with this many layered anime cake! Amazing! Plus, the cake tasted exactly as I requested +moist and just good! She delivered it timely. No drama, no back and forth, just Great cake, Kind person with an eagerness to please. Magnificent customer service and skill. Above and beyond! I am so glad I found her! Make that call. Marsha is amazing.

We had an idea for the cake but Marsha brought the vision and it came together beautifully. My daughter was thrilled. Not only was it the coolest looking cake we’ve ever had — it was also so delicious! She also delivered it directly to the party. What a dream! Can’t recommend Marsha enough.

My fiancé and I had been hunting for a wedding cake for a while. All of our other cake taste tests were unimpressive. Then we discovered Marsha's Sweet Cakes. She was able to fit us in immediately for a cake taste test. The experience was ten times greater than anything we'd done previously. Her presentation was stunning. But most importantly, her cakes are so delicious that we couldn't pick a favorite because each one was as good as the previous. In the end, we chose a three-tiered, three-flavor cake. The base was lemon, the middle was her snow white buttercream, and the top tier was her strawberry cake, which had strawberries within. We also bought a dozen chocolate cupcakes. We provided her with some ideas for the design of our wedding cake, but ultimately granted her artistic freedom. We were not disappointed; the cake and the cupcakes was exquisite. She is a genuinely talented person. And I'm so glad we found her. She also stayed during the Reception to help cut and serve the cake. She went above and beyond, even helping to refill our grazing table. If you need someone to prepare a cake for your next event, look no further. I assure you won't be disappointed. Thank you, Marsha, for making our wedding day so memorable.

We are so grateful that we met Ms. Marsha! My daughter fell in love with Ms. Marsha's delicious talent when she opened her store front in Del Amo mall. It was at that moment she knew she wanted Ms. Marsha to create her Sweet 16 cake, although it was a little over 2 years from them. However, the time came quick and August 2024 arrived faster than we knew it!
Makayla's theme was Little Mermaid and she found a picture on Pinterest for a vision. Well, Ms. Marsha definitely exceeded Makayla's expectations and cried when she saw her cake for the first time. Shedding a few tears without smearing her makeup Makayla said, "WOW! It came out better than I expected!" Not only did she have a lovely creation, Makayla and her guest absolutely love the taste!
We will be in touch with Ms. Marsha for many of our future events to add her yummy touch of the sweet treats she is remarkably talented at creating!
