This restaurant needs a pickle bar. Otherwise the food is delicious for $20 sandwich plates. Not clear if everything or anything was Kosher. The decor is absolutely "kitsch". Service was attentive before 6:00pm. Seating is cafeteria style. There is outdoor seating as well.

Great food and great service. Hard to find anymore. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was piled high with roast beef and a kosher pickle a must along with potatoe salad. So much food had to take half home.

Food portions are HUGE, which is nice since the place isn't super cheap. However, the one female staff member seems almost alien sometimes, weirdly confused, not taking even very simple requests like meat on the side to make a sandwich vegetarian friendly. Pretty sure she is or knows the owner, as I can't imagine how else she's employed. She's not mean or anything, just not hospitable and very odd. Wish they had actual competition!
