I really wanted to like Cozzi Cafe, but unfortunately, it just didn’t hit the mark for me. Maybe we didn’t order the right things, but all the drinks we got had little to no sweetness. The smoothie, in particular, was super bland, which was disappointing, especially at nearly $8.

The place itself has a nice vibe, so I might give it another try and order something different. But based on this visit, it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.

I got a hot chai with lavender and it was delightful. The people there are very sweet and mellow. The decor is very cute, but the bar chairs are pretty short, and the seating overall was a bit rickety. I will be going back again regardless!

I waited for 10 mins before anyone spoke to me and 20 mins after I ordered for a latte. Took too long for a coffee. Told me it would take 10 additional minutes if I wanted a bagel…

This little coffee spot is located in an area that has an old timey feel. The barista was very nice and gave recommendations as we perused the menu. I had one of their signature drinks while my sister asked for a coconut toffee latte. The person was kind enough to adjust sweetness levels for us. The coffee turned out nice and smooth. One was still a tad too sweet for us, but the foam was done nicely.

The Marrakesh was absolutely delicious but I did have a few issues when I came about a week ago that are still bothering me. Their ice machine is too small for the volume of orders that they get, and I understand it wasn't the barista's fault, but I did have to wait a very long time for ice to drop. If it's a hot day and a weekend just beware you will have to wait a very long time for anything iced.

My second concern is that I'm very confused about the pricing, and was not able to get a straight answer from the barista about this issue when I asked. Their 12oz hot drinks and 12 oz iced drinks seem to be priced at the same amount, when I thought it was industry standard to charge 12oz hot and 16oz iced the same, 8oz hot and 12 oz iced the same, 16oz hot and 20oz iced the same, etc... This is usually done because of the displacement of the liquid in ice, and due to the fact that the amount of actual product is being used in 12oz hot and 16oz iced is identical (at least in every coffee shop I've ever worked at).

I initially ordered a 12oz hot Marrakesh which ended up being $8.20 after adding oat milk, tax, and tip. They let me know that I could just wait for ice to drop (after I paid), I obliged since it was over 90° outside and changed my order to iced, assuming this would mean a 16oz cup. My friend paid around the same amount for the same drink and received a 16oz, while I got only a 12oz. I was very confused and asked the barista and the answer she gave me was something along the lines of "well we put more ice in the 16oz..." and just kept talking about ice which left me even more confused. I don't think she understood what I was asking, but there was a line so I didn't want to hold things up. I asked for my receipt and left. She was very nice about it, though, even if she couldn't answer my question. Anyways, great drink, good service, just a few things that could be improved. I won't be coming back, but I appreciate the effort of the baristas because I know it must have been difficult for them to work in those conditions on a hot day with no ice and a line out the door.

I wish them the best, and hope that this shop changes to reflect industry standard pricing that correlates with the actual volume of liquid you receive. $8.20 for what was probably 8oz of liquid and the rest ice is the most I have ever paid for coffee, and would not have purchased it if I had known what size I was getting (especially since 12oz hot means 12 full ounces of actual drink, which is what I paid for).

Cute coffee spot, like the jungle theme and barista was really nice and helpful. The coffee was great and turkey panini was good! I drink coffee daily; I ordered an iced latte with almond milk.

The owner of this place should make sure that at least two people prepare drinks. It is clearly visible that the barista cannot handle the flow of customers alone. Because of this, the quality of the service provided decreases. Very dirty in the area of the tables outside the cafe. I hope the owner will respond to the comments.

Nice little spot in Old Town Torrance. Ordered the toffee latte- not a huge fan but it is a good drink! They serve a few eats from what I saw. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese- turned out yummy! Surrounded by other spots restaurants, bakery, park, small retails etc

Nice cozy little place I like to stop by occasionally. Drinks are great, if on the pricey side, and the staff are always extremely friendly and fast :)My only nitpicks are that they don't stock decaf coffee beans, and I wish the chairs at the bar-style table were much taller. When I'm sitting down the table is almost at my neck, it's kind of silly. Makes it almost impossible to use a laptop or read there. I also wish there were umbrellas outside for the patio chairs like there used to be. The front patio in general is somewhat lacking in aesthetics compared to the inside of the cafe which is very cozy.

Was very excited to try this women-owned cafe, and have to say: I was disappointed. Their pictures online are not accurate to how it looks when you walk in the door and their prices (also different from what they are on here) are pretty unreasonable for the quality you get. The toffee crunch latte was topped with cinnamon so it had a gritty texture when you sip it. I mixed it in and it was fine, but still not my favorite. Their breakfast sandwich was definitely microwaved and very small for the price. And their avocado toast was extremely basic and didn’t even taste like avocado? Not sure if they used a pre-made mixture from the store instead of fresh avocados, but we will not be coming back.Service was nice though!
