Cash Only! Really good. Got the spicy miso and the rice with the egg salad and cod roe. Not the most gourmet ramen, but really simple and convenient. I really enjoy this marketplace and food court in general. Will definitely come back and recommend.
The food court at Mitsuwa might just be one of my more favoured places of convenience. It’s a compact paradise packed with solid food spots, all dishing out generous portions at great value. My go-to? The spicy miso ramen from that one Ramen Santouka.
Now, before you say, “But I can’t handle spicy!”, relax. It’s more of a flavorful nudge than a full-on fire alarm. Spice lovers might find it a bit tame, but the depth of flavor more than makes up for it. Trust me, your taste buds will forgive the lack of a five-alarm blaze.
The staff are always lovely, the ordering process is smooth, and while the wait is usually short, I like to use that time to grab a dessert from one of the other stalls—because balance, right?
If you’re looking for a quick, satisfying, and flavorful bite all in one cozy corner, Mitsuwa delivers every time.
Prices have gone up a bit but so does every other food place. Costumer service and food taste have always been good!! Been coming here for almost 6 years now and I have never been disappointed. Will always be a favorite spot :)
This is my Girlfriends FAVORITE Ramen. Being in Mitsuwa gives the atmosphere a real Japanese vibe. The broth is light but still plenty of flavor. The wait is always short and the staff are accommodating. I would recommend checking out Santouka in Mitsuwa if you have never been and we will definitely be back.
If you're on the hunt for a genuinely tasty ramen experience in Torrance, Santouka, tucked inside Mitsuwa Marketplace, deserves a spot on your list. Often cited as a top contender in the area, their multiple locations within Japanese communities speak to their authentic flavors. Unlike some of the richer, more complex ramen styles, Santouka focuses on the clean and satisfying taste of their broth. With distinct options available, the quick service and thoughtful presentation of separate noodles and toppings allow for a personalized dining experience.
While more of a fast-casual setting, the quality of the ramen shines through, and at around $20 per person (with three size choices), it offers excellent value. For those seeking a quick yet high-quality meal, especially ramen enthusiasts, Santouka easily ranks among my top South Bay recommendations. The convenience of ample free parking in the Del Amo Fashion Center lot is an added bonus. Definitely a solid choice for a flavorful and efficient ramen fix.
Good ramen. They also offer combos with rice.
The Ramen is excellent. I love the rich broth with a savory taste. The noodles texture is just right on the firm side. The pork belly is thick but tender. My go to is the Spicy Miso Combo with the Ikura rice.
Please don’t go here
My friend and I ordered the miso ramen and threw up once we got home, felt dizzy and had headache all day. The pork had so much fat, the noodles felt like maruchan, the miso was too oily. The lady at the front wanted to charge us .55 cents for chili oil! We want our money back.
Good Ramen. They have a small, regular and large sizes.
Ramen is normal but it is every ramen should have.

Whenever I crave ramen, I come here only. That's all I have to say. My go-to order is the salt ramen. Taste is simple, not too salty, and never disappoints. Also, you don't have to pay tip. Come here if you have a ramen craving!!

Great value and friendly service! I had the spicy miso ramen with salmon and roe bowl. It wasn’t very spicy but food was nice and comforting

The ramen is extremely oily and poor in taste. The manager was also extremely rude, horrible manners. There are so many better ramen places in the area, don’t waste your time or money here.

Wow! How the quality and service have fallen. This used to be my favorite ramen shop with friendly people and delicious shio ramen. Now the people can't even be troubled to make change and the food is mediocre at best. Won't even give you shou unless you ask for it (for natto rice). Unbelievable that this is a Japanese restaurant....definitely not worth your time or money!

I've come here for the food many times and thought I'd finally leave a review. Santouka's special pork plate never disappoints, the meat is flavorful with good texture, the noodles are firm but not too much, and the broth is delicious. I've done both takeaway and dine-in, and its the same taste. Highly recommend.
(Atmosphere only gets a 2, but that's not the establishment's fault; this is a food court so it's to be expected.)
