Sutadonya at Mitsuwa in LA.I don't eat Sutadon very often in Japan, but whenever I want to eat rice overseas, I always stop by.Spicy pork bowl with soft-boiled egg.It goes great with white rice.It was quite large, but I finished it quickly.I'm also happy to have tea instead of cola.I was able to build up my stamina with Sutadon and push myself a little harder.

Ordered a curry katsu bowl. Rice and curry sauce was excellent but the chicken katsu was pretty meh. It felt as if I was eating greasy crispy bread and the chicken itself was dry and overcooked. For what I paid I was disappointed.

My bf and I dropped by Mitsuwa since we were at the mall and because the one that they opened near us doesn't have nearly as much good stuff. The food court here is incredible and so much room to sit! We love eating at Mitsuwa's food court but unfortunately ours back home doesn't even have a food court. We found a spot to sit immediately and we got some food to share from this place since we weren't super hungry. Got the Curry Rice, Chicken Katsu, Fried Rice, Teriyaki Mayo, and Sutamina Chicken (super garlicky chicken) which was all absolutely delicious. I couldn't believe how much garlic they put into it but we loved it! That's exactly how I wish all garlic chicken was. The curry and katsu were great, delicious fried rice that wasn't dry, and their teriyaki mayo is fantastic for dipping the katsu in. This spot is amazing and will definitely be coming back next time we're in the area. Wish they'd open one up in the San Fernando Valley because we'd be there all the time! IG: @ammysalamii

Ordered the garlic pork combo with miso soup and fried chicken. Food was good and came out fast. Fun food options in the Japanese market next to Del Amo.... Very convenient after a movie

Stopped by to check out this new location since the move from Western. The ordering kiosk was very straightforward, no need for interaction with staff unless you want to or need help ordering. It would help if the ordering kiosk was more user friendly with pictures and more or a description. I tried to order a plate that I saw on the TV they have out front. What I was served didn't match what I saw but it was delicious anyway! I was completely ready for the consequences of not asking for help. The food was nice and hot when it was served. The portions were very good. The flavor of the stamina chicken were amazing. My order with a Coke came out to $25 and I had half of it left to take home. The Yakima so a was good too. I'll be trying this place again with some help from the staff next time.Kid-friendliness: The dining area is the common walkways which is good for kids as they will always be busy watching and listening on what's going on in this busy place.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of accessible tables throughout. Handicapped parking also.

Ordered the sutamina pork bowl, which came with a soft boiled egg. The meat didn't have enough sauce for my liking, but this was totally my fault. There is a sauce and seasoning bar next to the ordering kiosk where you can deck out your bowl (chili powder, white pepper, extra sauce, and a whole bunch of stuff). I unfortunately didn't make use of this, so next time!Service is good. You order at a kiosk, and they text you when your food is ready. Place is located inside Mitsuwa in Del Amo Mall. Plenty of seating, but the area can get a little crowded. Nonetheless, I don't think it should be difficult to find a seat. Overall, yummy pork bowl!

I got the garlic pork bowl. The pork is on the fatty side but had a good flavor. I tried the karage chicken which was soft and not too dry. The rice was probably the best part. It was cooked to a tense softness that I didn't want to waste any and it tasted yummy mixed with the runny egg it comes with. There's also pickled daikon which helps balance all the richness.

Quick review: not too bad for budget priced meal :)

I was really excited to try one of their bowls because it looked soo good in pictures!I was looking to have a traditional Japanese pork and vegetables bowl - and that's what I ordered here. Very disappointed. Not only did the food take 30ish minutes to be ready, it really just tasted like a panda bowl. The only 'seasoning' I could taste was soy sauce. Meh. I unfortunately also saw one of the people working there accidentally slap a receipt in someone's bowl and then fishing it out with their fingers and closing the lid on the bowl. I did not like it. I will not have it again.

It's only half the amount of food samples. Very small portions. That's why the price is also too high.

The good:You self-order from a tablet and are given a text when your order is ready. I like how there's plenty of seating options both indoors in the food court but also outdoors in the adjoining space. I like the outdoor option because I can let my 21 month old roam a little there. It's a casual and quick lunch or dinner. I got a pre-set chicken karage bowl with their sauce and a build your own 2 meat bowl with spicy pork and chicken. I liked the soft boiled egg and pickled radish. The bad:I wish we were given more than just 2 pieces of pickled radish for the build your own plate. The build your own plate came with too much rice. It would've been nice if we had more vegetable add on options that didn't cost extra. The karage was soggy. I know there's a sauce on it but if it were freshly fried and then tossed in sauce it would've had a different texture. The temperature was also just luke warm. I was in the middle of ordering when the tablet shut down and required an employee to re-enter a code to reset it. The worker told me the tablet was the only way to order. The interesting:They have a second location in Chicago.
