Excellent place to get your yakatori fix. The chicken skin was grilled to perfection where all the fat was rendered out and left a crispy, charred piece of heaven to enjoy. The chicken tail was equally impressive as it provided a slightly crunchy texture on the exterior but moist n juicy on the inside. What a culinary pleasure...

Vegetarian options: There r veggies but their specialty is grilled chicken skewers

Kid-friendliness: Did not see kids during dinner but do not see why one cannot bring children. Perhaps age 10 n older

Was a little bit cramped but food was really yummy! Their hot tea is also so good to have with their skewers, would totally recommend it.

I’m really fond of the liver plate but they don’t give enough crackers for the two giant liver paste balls! 😔

Would honestly come again just for the tea!!

Can't speak to rest of the menu, but the yakitori is pretty good. Elbow to elbow at the bar seating which is a tad tight, and the veggies I did have were just okay.

Parking: Free lot that usually has spaces, but it does get busy.

Sucks. Absolutely no 2nd time of visit. I have been to Antarctica and 50+ countries . I admire the entire Japanese culture tremendously. i am sure this restaurant is run by real Japanese owner, however
it is one of the worst of overseas restaurants run by real Japanese people.

Amazing

It’s ludicrous that they don’t offer tap water except you buy a bottle water.

You are not allowed to drink your own milk tea, and you have to pay for water. I arrived before 6.53 for the online reservation, but when I arrived at 6.49, I still had to wait for half an hour. The food was okay, and the experience was hard to describe.

The food is amazing!! So many flavors and each uniquely delicious. The quail eggs, the signature meatballs, and the liver were our favorites.
The service is good and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We will definitely go back.

It's been a month since I came to America, and I was craving white rice and miso soup, so I decided to come here.
How many years has it been?
The anniversary says it's the 15th anniversary, but it seems like it's been going on for even longer.

The food is

Yakitori → Delicious just like in Japan

That's because I don't eat much.

Rice set $5 dollars? (Maybe?)
It's the best! Miso soup doesn't cut it, but the beef soup has a lot of meat in it, so I'm very satisfied!

Thank you for the meal.

All the skewers were so flavorful! I will return for the rest but the favorite one was the tail. Get the cucumber salad!

Delicious skewers all around with great char and flavor. Juicy and not dry. Service was fast and interior had a great Izakaya vibe. 24 skewers and 2 appetizers plus 2 cocktails came out to $190 for 3 people so roughly $60 a person. On the pricier side but the flavor was on point so a nice splurge meal. Comparable to flavors you would get in Japan, just pricier.

Brilliant little place for some fantastic skewers and drinks. The service is great, atmosphere too. The food, each item was delicious in it's own right. A few items felt average, but mostly a great place.

Its a great place to meet up a friend and chat over some simple food and drinks. Make reservations though.
