High quality matcha latte! I wish I had gotten my drink lightly sweetened as the unsweetened matcha latte was a bit too bitter for my taste. No wait when I arrived around 2:30 on a rainy Friday. Was planning to get their matcha banana bread but unfortunately they were out by the time I arrived. I had a little trouble finding it as I thought it was inside the market. You can enter via the main Mitsuwa Market entrance and then take a left and it is at the entrance of a food court area

4 stars because I'm lactose intolerant and 2 times when I ordered (different days) they would give me my latte with whole milk when I asked for oat. I made sure with a receipt and by asking. They do rectify the mistake, but you have to make sure your order is right before leaving the counter. I do appreciate that there isn't a surcharge for alternative milk like other places
As for taste, I always get the matcha. It's very good matcha. I also took a sip of the hojicha from my sibling and it was very delicious too.

I used to get the hojicha soft serve and it was so good! My favorite! Im so sad they discontinued it š¢. I got the matcha soft serve and its still really good but not the same sadly. Please bring back the hojicha soft serve!!!

Bitter and thick! The red bean paste and mochi balls balances it out. I donāt like the jelly. They donāt have hojicha anymore

It was pretty decent but if you're looking for a rich, bolder matcha prolly this is not it. It tasted like I'm drinking water with a little hint of matcha.

I was really impressed with Yamari! The matcha flavor here tastes authentic and rich they use Uji matcha from Japan, which gives it a deep earthy taste and pleasant bitterness instead of just being sweet. I expected a typical soft serve, but it was much more refined. The parfait comes with sweet red bean paste, which balances the strong matcha perfectly if you like a little extra sweetness. Even the cone was stylish, black in color, and made the dessert look elegant. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely one of the best matcha spots Iāve found in the U.S., and Iām excited to go back to try more items!

This is possibly the best place for matcha soft serve! I tried their mixed premium matcha and vanilla soft serve and strawberry matcha latte (milk alternatives soy and oat available). This is located in the food court of the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrance. I will definitely come here again for their soft serve.

A friend of mine and I were treated in a discriminatory manner here by two employees in the last week of December 2024.
The owner reached out after my first review. We were in contact till about the second week of January 2025. The owner suggested a plan to remedy things the last time he contacted me, two weeks ago, but he never followed through.
This business has serious issues with its management. The management demonstrated it did not take this matter all that seriously. I highly recommend against giving them your business. The quality of their matcha soft serve is very good but the business is not very ethical.
I encourage you to look in the other reviews for mention of an employee that offered poor customer service to at least two other people. If you had a similar experience please write a review.
One of the employees in particular was very rude. He spoke a bare minimum of words in a dismissive tone and never attempted to make the situation better. He never greeted us and never had any polite āthank youā language to offer.
The exact reason the young man decided to be discriminatory towards us - only he knows. The facts are: I had a shirt with a rainbow on it, Iām a Latina and I have an āLGBTā, āalternativeā or āeccentricā look. You can draw your own conclusions.
