Yamaya Japanese Wagyu & Grill is a Japanese yakiniku specialist in the Torrance area. Ventilation is not bad, but expect to get smelly. The dimly lit dining room is clean and tidy. Servers are friendly, professional and accommodating. Corkage is US$ 25/btl. Food is fresh and of great quality. The best wagyu meat we have ever eaten in our lives (at least until now) delicious. We ordered the tasting plate for 2 of Japanese wagyu + accompaniment and a plate of another premium meat. Everything was great and the man who served us was super friendly!!
It seems that the all-you-can-eat takana and mentaiko at lunchtime has ended.
So, I ordered motsu nabe (salt soup) and mentaiko and rice separately.
There are noodles at the end.
Although it had a light taste, the soup stock was delicious.
