We loved this place so much we went here twice during our stay in Trinidad. I had the mashed potato waffle cone and the crab melt. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the potato. What a great idea! Hubs ate the burger and crispy chicken sandwich and gave a 10/10 for the chicken. Truly amazing food, nice restaurant with heaters (we needed them after kayaking in April!) and cool art on the ceiling and walls, and delicious local beer. Would love to come back again, sad that we live on the other side of the US and getting to Trinidad is quite a trek for us. Glad we made it out and got a chance to eat here and support the locals a bit.

Not only unique, but also absolutely delish! Tuesday's fish tacos are on point. Highly recommend the crabbiest cone and the fully loaded cone. Every component was great, but I was not expecting the gravy to be so amazing! Lost Coast root beer on tap. And everything is a great value.

The mashed potato/ brisket / bacon concoction served in a waffle cone with gravy looks amazing. I f’ked up not seeing in on the menu before I ordered. Most of the customers I saw coming in seemed to know it was this places speciality

Delicious Food and Amazing Service!I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich on a homemade bun, paired with garlic fries and a coke. Absolutely delicious such a beautiful restaurant! They have absolutely delicious homemade ice cream that you get in a homemade waffle cone or a bowl.My boyfriend got the fish and chips and he absolutely loved it! Said the fish tasted amazing and was super flaky and the batter was amazing on the fish as well. Highly recommend this awesome place. You definitely won't regret it!
Food was ok. The family had fish tacos, clam chowder and fish and chips. Fish tacos were the best. Chowder and fish and chips were so so, nothing exciting.Staff were very helpful and polite. Restaurant was clean.

Our family loves the lighthouse grill and we always make sure to head over there when we are in the area. The mashed potato cones our one of our favorite foods. This was the only time that we have ever been disappointed by the experience/food. I was taking my kids for a day trip in Trinidad and they begged me to take them to the Lighthouse Grill. Once we got there we had to wait awhile while the person up front was making ice cream cones for the people in front of us. When we finally got to the front to order our ice cream the man simply said "sorry we're out of ice cream cones" (might I note that he had just made some right then for the people in front of us WTF!) We left and decided to come back later so that hopefully they would have made more cones. We took a long time at the beach and by the time we had gotten back to the restaurant it was near dinner time. We ordered some of their famous mashed potato cones and a dish of chicken and fries. The fries and the brisket on the mashed potato cones were soggy and the chicken was bland. After we were done we ordered our ice cream. They had made more ice cream cones and the ice cream was scrumptious. While we were finishing our ice cream we heard them run out of French fries and mashed potatoes. Many customers seemed less than happy. We will need to remember that we are taking a gamble when we drive all the way from Eureka to Trinidad just for mashed potato cones. Also I drove into a pot hole on the way back home so maybe today's just not my day.
GET THE WAFFLE CONE with all the fixings!! Thank me later.

Incredibly bland and mediocre food at a premium price. Fryer oil should be changed more frequently. Their ice cream and beer are the only redeeming qualities of this place.

Perfectly sweet and fresh ice cream with a crispy and light cone. Texture left a bit to be desired. 9.4/10
