Pulled pork sandwich was not bad but was underwhelming and overpriced. The outdoor seating area is very small and was crowded when we arrived, the waiter staff seemed extremely busy and overwhelmed.

The outdoor seating area is very small and was full when we arrived at 1pm on a Sunday so we opted to eat inside (there was only one other couple there). The music was loud so we had to speak up just to have a conversation. And the street noise was loud too. Admittedly, we were exhausted from a long drive so probably more “sensitive “ to these factors than usual. But it really didn’t make for a great experience. The servers were attentive so we appreciated that.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at 1882 tonight. We ate inside on a rainy evening and had great service and food. We shared a sample plate of tri tip, brisket and pulled pork. All was good with tender meats and a good smoke ring on the Brisket. We also enjoyed the sides of Mac n cheese and veggie kabob. We recommend 1882 to everyone!

First of all, you should know that if you visit in the summer, there is no air conditioning when they make you sit inside. Our visit was sooo hot. Eat outside if you can. They didn’t have room for us outside. The service was definitely lacking as we had to track down the bartender who was helping our table and he always seemed inconvenienced when we needed something. The brisket was extremely dry. Ribs were good. This meal was not memorable either way.
