Bar of America is a popular spot for a casual afternoon stop while shopping. The outdoor seating area can be busy, but the friendly and attentive waitstaff make up for it. The food is good, with generous portions, although not haute cuisine. The ahi poke nachos appetizer is a standout, and the presentation is magazine-worthy. However, parking in Truckee can be a challenge during tourist season, and the noise level inside can be high.
