Went in for lunch based on 4.8 star rating- but that definitely didn’t hold true. Very limited menu- but the sandwiches and sausage were good. Only one person working in the whole place, so I’m sure she was stressed- but she was very snippy. We had to wait about 5 minutes to order at the counter and was very sternly told not to sit at a table until we ordered. Food came out one at a time (probably because she was the only cook). Had to wait quite awhile to get the final...
My favorite local brewery in Truckee. Greg concocts up some great brews. They have a limited menu of bar food but it perfectly fits the needs. There are plenty of non-beer and even non-alcoholic options available. The atmosphere is the perfect local brew pub environment.
Great staff, fantastic sandwiches, and chill atmosphere. House beer is made in small batches so there is something new nearly every week and it is always excellent. I recommend trying the Vitkus. It's an ever changing farmhouse style ale using local sourdough and a variety of herbs like rosemary and sage. Truly a great place for locals and visitors alike.
